I stood up from my chair, waiting for the public humiliation of being pulled out of the room with icy handcuffs around my wrists, but when the moment never arrived I opened my eyes to see that the woman was standing still and that everyone was looking at me.

"Are you coming?", she asked with a harsh tone.

"Yeah", I mumbled as I followed her outside.

The cop and I wandered down the hall in silence until we finally reached the principals office, a place feared by most students. She knocked on the door twice before opening it with cautiousness, I guess I am not the only one afraid then..

After my many visits here, I have learned that the worst part of getting in to trouble is the meeting with him, Mr. Holland.

"Welcome in Luci, please have a seat", he said and the smell of cigars entered my nose.

I obeyed and sat down in a leather chair at the opposite side of his desk while the cop stood beside Mr. Holland.

"We would like you to answer a few questions regarding a fellow student here", she informed.

"Okay..Who?"

"Luke Adams"

"What about him?", I replied and felt all the color being drained from my face at the words coming from her now smirking mouth.

"Well, he is missing and you were one of the last persons seen with him. Could you tell me how he behaved at the party you both attended?"

"I don't know, he seemed happy"

"We have been informed that there was a small fight between him and another boy, Michael Langdon, do you know anything about that?"

"Um, Luke and I were dancing and then Michael pushed him to the ground"

"Why?"

"Because Luke tried to kiss me after I said no."

"Okay. What kind of relationship do you and Michael have?"

"We're friends.. I think. He lives in my attic"
I wasn't sure what was going on between us but friends seemed more appropriate

She wrote a few things down in a small note book before she looked at me with those mysterious eyes once again.

"Mr. Holland, I have what I need now, she is free to leave",

"You heard her Luci", my principal said and waved with his hand for me to leave, so I did.

That was odd. I hope they're not suspecting that Michael has anything to do with Lukes disappearing, even though he has..

I took fast steps back the classroom that was now empty. Being back in school felt overall good, there is no near death experiences, no satanism and no mother here.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket and took a look at the time, 09.20. That meant chemistry would start in ten minutes.

As I reached the lab room a sound of stepping approached  and I saw Ms. Wasa walking inside with a white coat around herself.

"What are you doing here Ms. Wasa?"

She gave me confused look and sat down behind her desk full of books.

"I work here"

"Yeah, I know. I just thought you would help Michael with his plan or something"

"I don't know what you are talking about Luci", she responded before filling a container with acid and then starting her lesson.

What was going on? She had nerve to push her and Michael in my face yesterday and now she acted like it didn't't even happen.

The lesson went on and we preformed an interesting lab with copper and nitric Acid.
It was hard to focus with Carol being so weird and I knew that I had to talk with Michael about this later.

Ironically the door opened and Michael arrived, dressed in a causal black t-shirt, that revealed his tanned arms, and black jeans.

"Great, I need to talk to you", I opened up by saying.

"Sure Luci, but I need to speak with you two first", he said and looked at Ms. Wasa as he cleaned his fist.

"We have a problem", Michael then whispered.
