"Alicia Melville! If you do not get ready this instant, there will be no oatmeal raisin cookies left after your first day of school!!!" Her mother's voice had sounded from downstairs.
New school, new life of opportunities, and the start of a trip to hell.
My name is Alicia Melville. I'm seventeen years old and recently moved to the town of Aeredale. My father, Matthew Melville, had gotten a better job in a new town.
He told my mother and I over summer vacation that we would be moving to a new town and I would like it there. That was obviously to make sure I wouldn't be upset.
It didn't work well at all for a few reasons. First reason, I'm in a new town that I know nothing about. I've never heard of a town named Aeredale. I even looked up on google to see where the town is but got very few info.
Second, I have no friends in this town. People in this town and others just stared at my family and I when we moved into the house. It felt very creepy like we were parasites or something.
Third, I miss my old school and the familiarity of it. I knew my old school like the back of my hand. I was familiar with the routes that I took in hallways to get to class on time.
Fourth and last reason, I miss my best friends like there is no tomorrow. My best friends would joke around with each other and we'd all laugh. Whether at home or school lunch, we'd help each other with homework. We all stayed up late some nights for fun. Mostly it was either gossip calls or texting to each other to hang out at places.
My hazel eyes stare into the mirror as I comb my medium, dark brown hair. I throw on a pair of long dark blue jeans and black socks. I made sure to put on a black T-shirt and my favorite Panic At The Disco hooded sweatshirt. I had my backpack set up with the supplies the day before today. It was needed or so my mother told me.
"Here begins the day of my death."
I quote to myself. Sometimes I try to cheer myself up, making up little quotes or using dark humor. Yet it seemed hard to laugh at something that felt true today.
I quickly finish getting ready to go to the new and 'exciting' first day of school. I walk down the steps, backpack straps holding it to my back. I grab a mini apple blueberry muffin and rush out of the house. My mother's baking is still superb even when in a new house.
I make it to my mother's car, getting into the passenger's seat. I buckled up in the car, yet I obviously wasn't happy. I quietly ate the muffin as my mother drove me on the way to the new school.
Going to a new school in a town that you know absolutely almost nothing about? Seems like a accident just waiting to happen.

Well there's the first chapter. I'm sorry if there is some misplaced words and punctuation.
This is honestly the first time writing out a story that others will be able to read. I inputted a quote that I said when I was in Middle School.
I hope you all enjoy this Chapter! Chapter two should be up tomorrow or Friday!
