Here I am, standing in front of my mirror in my bedroom. I made sure to be dressed nicely for upcoming the 'date' tonight.
After he said to go on a date with me, I reluctantly and regrettably agreed to it. I had no choice at the time since the rat was my first thing to deal with.
Nonetheless, Eric did drive me to a pet store. He didn't say anything on the car ride to the store which seems a bit weird. I went inside and got a cage and food for the rat. I even got a tiny collar for the rat, in turn I named the little guy Warren.
Hearing the sound of a car horn, I walk downstairs to the front door. I was hesitant to open the door since I felt uneasy. This is my first date ever and it's with someone that I dislike.
Another knock happens once more. I let out a nervous sigh before opening the door. Holy shit. He actually looks nice for once. He wasn't wearing his clothes that he wore at school for start.
The outfit that he is wearing is compiled by a dark, forest green dress shirt with long sleeves. Along with the shirt is brown pants and a black belt around his waist. I look downwards at his feet, excepting him to wear some fancy dress shoes. What I didn't from him is that he's wearing pair of white tennis shoes that mismatch with his attire.
I couldn't help letting out a small laugh at seeing him wear tennis shoes. "Tennis shoes on a date?" I asked him, humor in my voice.
"I didn't have any nice dress shoes after last time i went on a date." He told me with a monotone voice.
"So I'm not the first girl you took on a date." I mumbled.
Annoyed as I was then and there, I said nothing more. He walked me to his car without a word. I got into the passengers seat, shutting the door. He got into the drivers seat, closing the door behind him. I buckled my seatbelt as did he before he started the car and started to drive.
It's obvious that I felt uncomfortable being in his car with him.
I wasn't expecting where he would be taking me for the date.
