If there was a word to explain that moment of getting caught, it would be shame.

It felt like when I ate my mom's delicious cookies that were orders a couple of times. If Mom caught me in the act of stealing the ordered cookies, it ends up with me cleaning the kitchen and her room.

Except this time, it ended up with I and Rude Boy in detention.

How did we get here exactly?

Rude boy and I were late to class and for causing a "disturbance" or so the adult told us. Turns out, that the adult is the Principal of the school.

The Principal decided for us to get along in detention. He just stuck us in an empty classroom and locked the door without a teacher in the room.

It was just me and rude boy in the classroom, alone with no supervision whatsoever. What the hell kind of school did I transfer to?

"It's your fault we're stuck in here." I hear the rude boy's monotonous voice say. Although I could hear the anger laced in his voice.

"Oh well I'm sorry that it's my first day and I don't know where hell my classes are. I'm sorry that I accidentally bumped into you" I say to him, being sarcastic on the "I'm sorry" parts.

I was pretty pissed off at the jerk blaming me for landing us in detention. He was the one that flipped me off right in front of the Principal, but I did say fuck you at rude boy's action.

"Apology accepted" he says with a smug look on his face, taking a seat at one of the desks in the room. "Seeing as you don't know the school very well, I'll give you a tour after detention is over" he says to me.

"No way in hell. I'd rather have a rat in my locker than be near you." I told him, upright denying him.

Serves him right for flipping me off and getting me in trouble on the first day of school.

There seemed to be a quizzical frown on his face, like he's never been denied before. His frown was quickly replaced by a small, roguish smirk. "Alright" I heard him say with a small shrug.

I take a seat at an empty desk that was well wards away from him. 'Mom is so gonna kill me. I landed myself into trouble aka detention on my first day. Just great first day...' The thoughts within my mind tell myself.

"I never got your name newbie." A voice brings me out of thought. I guess that was his way of asking me to tell him my name.

"Alicia. Alicia Melville." I tell him without looking at him. I wasn't really enthusiastic about giving him my name, but hopefully it made him satisfied enough for him to not bother me.

"Hmm. The name is Eric Molloy. Remember that." I could hear him tell me.

So sorry for not updating this! I've been busy over the holidays with family. Tomorrow is New Years Eve yet I'm sick and can't go to friends house. So instead I'll be posting the start of my other book!

It has nothing to do with this story.

It's something I have been drawing and working on 'their' design for months now.

It will start with a bit of a unique backstory which I'm still figuring out a bit.

There will be a main character which I will figure out their personality a soon as possible.

Other than that, I hope you enjoy this chapter! Will post next chapter maybe on January 1st 2019.
