It was two years after their deaths. Augustus Waters and Alaska Young. Although the two of them had never met, they had unknowingly sealed the fate of two people very dear to them. Hazel Grace was visiting Augustus's grave it had become her secret habit. What she didn't realize was that the boy across from her would flip her world over again. That boy was Miles Halter. He too was visting the grave of an old friend who had never truly left his mind. Their eyes met at one point but it was an akward silence.
