"I said what the hell is going on here?" Kent grinded out the words between clenched teeth. His voice was cold as death.
My tongue got caught in my mouth and I became totally speechless, nervously biting on my bottom lip.
Bryce wasn't talking either. He just stood there feeling cool with his hands in his pocket again, doing his wicked smirk.
Kent's face became hot and pinched with resentment as his fist clenched beside him.
I knew he was about to do something stupid again. I was scared as hell. He was going to beat Bryce up and I doubted of Bryce was the the kind of person who would fight back. So I had to stop him.
"We were just talking..." that was the same thing I said at the beach. Why did I aways find myself in shitty situations like that?
"You stupid *sshole..." He moved closer to Bryce and threw a punch at him; luckily for him, he was able to avoid it. "I told you to stay away from her..." He yelled.
I immediately ran to him and pulled him away before he threw another punch. Bryce wasn't even moving, it was like he wasn't afraid of what Kent would do to him. Kent could shove his face in his ass...
"Kent, stop! Please" I pleaded. "We were just talking" I defended.

He turned to look at me with his raging eyes. "You think you're the queen of the universe that every guy wants to talk to you now?" He bellowed with rage and my mouth fell open. His words stung like a piercing needle. "I was only away for few hours and you're already with him?" He spitted out the words with contempt as he pointed at Bryce. "Him?" he repeated and I just became totally numb.
What was wrong with talking to Bryce or any other guy?
"I can't believe you'd stoop so low Alex Cooper" what? Did he just said that to me? My gosh! I didn't even do anything wrong.
"What are you saying?" I questioned, totally dumfounded.
"I can't look at you right now Alex" and with that he gave Bryce one long bitter look before walking away.
"Kent!" I yelled as I ran after him. He didn't turn around for once. Not for a single moment. He only quickened his pace into his car and then drove off; leaving me all by myself.

The sky had slowly turned dark with the moon and tiny sparkling stars beautifully taking over.
All I could think of was Kent.
