"Hey babe." After the greeting, it didn't take Minho long to realise something was up with his boyfriend.

While he didn't look out of it, Minho sensed something.

"What's wrong, babe?" He watched as the younger joined him on the sofa and then lied down, placing his head in his lap.

"I don't feel good."

"You feel fine to me." The older stated, feeling the younger's cheeks and forehead.

"No. Mentally. I don't feel well mentally. This fake boyfriend stuff is really getting on my nerves."

"How so?"

"I don't know. Andrew and his parents are nice. I just ... I guess just being around them everyday is annoying especially because he's not my boyfriend and they're not my parents."

"Maybe." Pause. "Well, there's only one day left, right? They leave tomorrow?"

"Yes. And then I'll be able to spend the rest of my pathetic life with you."

Minho almost frowned. "Your life's not that pathetic. It has me in it." He smiled widely. And Caleb's heart fluttered slightly, busting a fat 'uwu' before it calmed down.

"No. I think if anything, that makes it more pathetic."

Minho scoffed and then rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Do you work today?"

"No. But I told Andrew and his parents that I got called in. So I won't be back with them until 7..."

"Aww you wanted to come see me that bad?"

"Okay. Don't toot your own horn. It doesn't sound nice."

Minho scoffed. "How old are you again?"

"That doesn't matter."

"Okay, grandpa."

"You're the one with the silver hair here..."

"Uh ... yeah. But it's dyed. Not natural."

"Whatever."

Caleb drew in a breath and let it out slowly. Everything would be back to normal tomorrow.

He'd be able to spend the remainder of his winter break with Minho.

And of course his job family.

But mostly with Minho.

It sure would suck if something happened.
