El fin está cerca...
-7:30pm
It was almost time.
Though the two had gone on plenty dates, Caleb still felt the nervousness that came with preparing.
After showering, he had to find something nice to wear. And then he had to make sure he smelled nice.
His hair was still damp. So he had to fix that too.
Ugh. So much to do.
He was kind of a perfectionist.
When he cared about something, he wanted it to be perfect.
And he cared about this date.
Who knows when he might get a chance like this again? He rarely got Saturdays off. He worked almost every Saturday. Even if it was only for four hours.
He let out a sigh as fixed the collar on his black turtleneck. He looked at himself in the mirror once more before leaving his room.
And there Minho was. Sitting at the dining room table with one of his many books in front of him. But he wasn't reading it.
Wanna know why?
Because his phone was in his hands.
"Minho!" He rushed up to the table and slammed his hands onto it. He expected to surprise the older.
But he failed.
Horribly.
"I thought you said we were leaving at 7:30?"
The older looked at the time on his phone. "Uhhh no. I told you to be ready by 7:30."
"Why? You aren't even ready. You're sitting here texting." He tried to be nosey and read the messages but he couldn't.
He thought it was Chinese or something. But then he remembered that Minho was Korean.
Either way, he couldn't read the messages. He was only able to make out his name (which had been typed in English).
"Yeah. We're actually leaving at 8:30. But you take forever to get ready. Plus I knew you'd do some shit like this."
He pointed to the younger's outfit, a criticising tone in his voice.
"What are you talking about?"
"You overdressed, Caleb. We're going out to eat and then to the movies."
"Yeah. And then a club afterwards. Do you not remember?"
Minho was silent for a moment, recalling what he had told the younger some days ago.
Damn. He's right.
"Okay. Well you still overdressed."
While Caleb didn't think his light-blue jean jacket paired with a black turtleneck and some light-blue jeans was 'overdressing,' clearly Minho did.
But what Caleb didn't know was that he wasn't overdressed. He was dressed perfectly. Minho just knew that if he was dressed like that, he'd have to smash some heads in the club.
"No I'm not. I look nice."
