Think I should introduce some new characters.

9:27pm

"What are you doing here?"

Caleb neared the table that Minho sat at.

Yes, he was happy to see his boyfriend.

Yes. Boyfriend.

But not at his job. For some reason, it was a bit awkward for him and it made him nervous.

"What else would I do at a diner?" The older scoffed, looking up at his boyfriend with a smug smile on his pale face.

And Caleb scoffed. "Knowing you, you'd probably screw someone in the bathroom."

"Would you like to test out that theory?"

Caleb choked on some spit. They haven't even been together for a week and the dirty suggestions were already starting.

"No. Just let me know when you're ready to order and I'll be back to get your order..." Caleb retreated, his face rather red.

As he entered the back, he was immediately ambushed by his coworker.

"He's rather attractive, isn't he?" She spoke, following Caleb over to the sink. She watched as he finished up rinsing off some tomatoes.

"I guess ..."

"Like ... he could try rape me and I'd still spread my legs for him." She continued on, a sappy smile on her sand-coloured face.

"I don't think he likes girls. Especially annoying bubbly ones like you."

She scoffed and glared at him. "How do you know?"

"Because my gaydar is going off like a siren." Caleb wasn't letting on (at least he didn't think so). But he was getting rather annoyed. He couldn't let her know that the two were dating. Not because he was embarrassed, but because she was embarrassing.

An embarrassing blabber-mouthing girl.

"Whatever. You don't know. Anyways, how old do you think he is? What do you think his name is? Do you think he's single?"

"Oh my gosh. Alanna, don't you have something better to do? Geez. Make yourself useful and help me cut up these vegetables."

The diner was slow today. So they had time to prep stuff for the next shift.

But by the looks of things, he'd be the only one doing work until his shift was over. Because it looks like Minho wasn't leaving any time soon.

The diner was 24 hours. So when the next people came in, he was free to go.

He hoped that they were on time.

"You're right. Hey, he looks like he's ready to order. I'm gonna go check."

"No-"

"Don't wait up!"

And then she dashed off, wearing a smile on her face.
