If you could see into my mind,
I bet you'd be scared of what you'd find
My heart and my head often disagree
You see, one wants to live, but one wants to leave.
This world I'm stuck in gets so messy
And everyone tells me that they love me,
But it's hard to feel loved when I'm fighting alone
No one to call and no place to call home.
If you look into my eyes,
You'll see darkness and despair
And the light that used to shine is no longer there
The weight on my shoulders
Feels way too heavy
I might just fall over
And no one will catch me.
