I've been sitting on my couch staring at my phone for the past 20 minutes. I'm waiting for Niall to call.
He calls every night at 9:30, and every night I sit staring at my phone, waiting for it to ring. Soon the familiar ringtone starts blaring from my phone, and I pick it up quickly.
"Hello? Niall?!" I ask.
"Hey babe!" He answers cheerfully.
"You kept me waiting!" I say, causing him to laugh.
"I'm sorry, the boys took my phone."
"It's fine. I just miss you."
"I miss you to."
"How long do you have until you have to go?" I question. He never gets to talk longer than 10 minutes.
"I could talk to you all night, but-"
"I know I know. I just want the call to last is all."
"I wish you were here.."
"Don't get all soppy on me now." I joke. "I wish I was there to."
"Princess I have to go soon." He says, causing me to let a single tear fall.
"I know." I say trying not to sound like I'm crying.
"Princess please don't cry, I'm not worth your tears."
"Your worth every tear Niall. I just.. I love you, you know."
"You were never good with words." He says, chuckling. "I love you to, but baby I have to go I'll see you soon ok?"
"Ok. I love you."
"I love you to, bye princess."
"Bye baby."
I hung up the phone and made my way to my room. Once I'm settled into bed, my phone goes off once more.
Sleep good, baby. I'll see you in two weeks. I love you, you mean the world to me. Goodnight princess. ~Ni
Once I finish reading the text I fall asleep smiling.
