"So today is the one year anniversary of y/n and her lengthy battle with cancer." The television host says. Niall looks up will tear covered eyes.
"If you don't mind could we please not discuss that topic?" Liam asks. The host glances at Niall, sadly and looks over her notes.
"So we've hea-"
"She didn't get to fight you know." Niall spoke up. Everyone looks at him surprised, as he continues.
"About a week before that night the doctor had told us that she had a 73 percent chance of not making it. As I sat there crying she took my hand and pulled my face up. She looked at me and said 'There's always that 27 percent chance that I will.' I smiled at her and nodded." He says.
"Later that night while she laid sleeping I had finally got a chance to just look at her. She was pale, and was all bone. Her hair was just starting to grow back, but in that moment I realized that everything about her had changed. I mean she was still my princess.. my beautiful princess but.. The only thing that gave me hope that she could possibly recover and that 27 percent might actually work was her voice. She sounded like an angel. She was my angel. She STILL is my angel, but the only difference now is I can't hold her or kiss her or just be with her. She's looking over me now from heaven because god thought that my angel was to precious to stay out of heaven and took her away from me."
