"Mr. Horan I have work to do." I breathe out. He glances at me before huffing and getting up. He walks over to his desk that's set perfectly in the middle of the large room and picks up his phone. "Georgia will you please get Diana on the phone? I need her to come to work." He waits a moment before speaking again. ' "Diana- Yes I understand it's your day off- Just until.. " Pushing the phone away from his ear he looks over at me. "What time does your shift end?"
"Four Thirty."
He puts the phone back to his mouth. "Four thirty- No more arguing! You either come in or you lose your job! Your choice." He hangs up.
"That was really harsh," I mumble. "I'm already here, and it is my job!"
"Just please don't question my motives," He says. Leaning onto the desk he places his hands in his hands. "Are you— Are you hungry?"
I glance at the ground nodding a bit. I forgot about breakfast this morning in my hurry to get to work. "Go get your jacket." He mumbles. I get up walking out of his office and towards the employees lounge. I grab my jacket and bag before walking back to his office.
Before I was able to open the door my co-worker Amanda stops me. "Where you headed off to?"
Skimming through my thoughts I decided to lie. What's the good in telling anyone that I'm going out to lunch with our boss? Nothing. Nothing good will come out of it. Rumors will start. Probably saying that I'm sleeping with him and that's the only way I got the job.
But of course before I could say anything Niall Horan steps out of his office and looks between Amanda and I. "Are you ready?" He asks me.
"Mr. Horan," Amanda acknowledges looking flustered and then her eyes dart between the two of us. "I'll be getting back to work, I'll see you later Y/n." She scurries away.
"Ready?"
Looking over I see he's changed into a nice suit and his glasses were gone. "Where are we going?"
