chapter seven

Spencer
I take the chocolate cake and hand it to Liv and then I take the donut and hand it to Meg, we go to a table and sit down until I hear a familiar voice calling me from behind. "Spencer?" she says, I turn around "Oh, hey Aria, Emily... Hanna" "Hey Spence" Hanna and Emily say "Mummy who are these people?" Megan asks "Oh they are Aria," and I point the finger to Aria "Emily," and I point Emily "and Hanna" pointing to Hanna. "Hey little girl" Aria says "What's your name?" she asks "I'm Megan" Meg says "And what is yours?" Emily asks to Olivia, Liv gets up and hides behind me, strangers were not her thing. "She's Olivia" I answer for her. "Spence, weren't there 4 of them?" Hanna asks "Yes, but Hazel is at the dance school and Daniel is at football lesson" I explain "Oh, I see" Aria says "Well, let us know if you need anything, we really have to get going now" Emily says "Bye Megan, bye Olivia" they all say walking away and Olivia comes back on the chair eating the cake. "Liv, you can talk to my friends you know that right?" I smile and pinch her nose, she smiles a bit and nods. "Meg, have you done with your donut?" "Yes" She answers "Okay so, let's go we have to pick up Hazel and Daniel" "Okay" Meg says and Liv nods. We walk to the car and I put them in, we pick Daniel up and I was going to put Hazel in the car when she escapes from my arms and run away laughing, Oh god, no not again, I hate  her little games like this, I was already late for work. I close the door of my car and say to Liv, Meg and Dani "Don't you dare to get out of this car" and then I run after Hazel. I could see her I run faster and I see that she hits the leg of a guy, she falls on the ground, I can hear a familiar voice saying "Is everything okay little girl?" Hazel stands up and I grab her arm, saying "You need to stop this Hazel, I'm tired of this little games, I'm sorr-" and I cut me off when I look at the guy who talked to my child just 30 seconds ago. It was Toby. I then look at the people around him, a pretty brunette girl, and a little kid. I just stand there, looking at them, like a dumb. My eyes goes to the girl's finger, she wears an engagement ring. "Spencer..." Toby starts but I pick Hazel up and start walking away. I hear his voice saying "Spencer, Spencer please wait!" I don't listen to him and walk to the car "Mommy, that guy is calling you" Hazel says "Hazel, you never saw that guy, okay? He's bad news please if you see him just ignore him okay?" Hazel nods and then I put her in my car.
Toby
Did I just bumped into my daughter and Spencer? I tried to call her but she just kept walking away, I mean I didn't blame her, I would've walked away from me too. I left her when she needed me the most, but I just got scared, I mean in the moment she closed her eyes in that hospital room I panicked, and I walked away, I went to New York not telling anybody where I was going. I screwed up. But then I met this girl, Yvonne and I fall for her, I got her pregnant, but this time I stayed knowing that what I did to Spencer was wrong. I decided to step by her later to talk to her.
-THAT NIGHT-
I walk to Spencer's house, it took all my strength to knock at the door, but then I do and her angelic figure appears on the door, she's wearing just some black shorts and a t-shirt. She's still sexy as hell. No, Toby focus. She was about to slam the door to my face but I stop her. "Please let me in" I say "No way, the kids are inside" she says. She didn't want me to see the children, which made sense "Please Spencer, I just wanna talk" I say "Fine. Talk." she says coldly "How are you? and the kids?" I ask "Get. To. The. Point." she says "I just wanted to say, that I'm sorry, I'm sorry for-" she cuts me off closing the door behind her "Sorry for what exactly? For abandoned me after gave birth to four children? Or for after have done this got engaged with some perfect girl, and did a son with her, and just forgot that you have and always had another family here?!" She yells, we are both outside of the house, I guess that's why she closed the door, she didn't want our children to hear her yelling, she was a good mother. "Spencer, I know it was a mistake but-" "Toby, I'm going to say to you this once, stay the hell away from me and the kids" she says. I freeze "Spencer, I just wanna meet them" "That's never gonna happen, I can handle, you hurting me, breaking my heart, but what I can't handle is you coming here 4 years later, expecting me to let you see the kids, because I promise you, if you hurt them, I'm gonna make sure that you hurt the way that I hurt understood?" she exclaims. "Spence, you don't mean it" "Oh watch me" she answers "Now get the hell away from my house!" "Spence, please" I beg "Get. The. Hell. Away. From. My. House" she says with the tone of someone who doesn't want to repeat what she just said, so I just turn around and walk away.
