Chapter 16

You slide your uniform on and ran out the door with Levi. Hanji lead you to the 3DMG and you quickly put it on. You all ran outside and started to maneuver until you reached the top of the wall. Hanji pointed off the wall towards the gate. You and Levi looked over the wall to see about twenty titans that looked about 28 - 34 meters. The creatures had glowing red eyes and were kind of deformed. some of their arms were really long, some had no eyes, lots of them had no heads, some had all muscle and some even had more than two arms and two legs!

"Oh my." You comment. You look at Levi but he's still looking off the wall with a pissed off expression.

"What now?" Hanji asked. Levi looked up.

"You're asking me this? Let's see you, Commander Zoe, do your job." Levi suggested. Hanji frowned and took a second to think.

"Gather up all of the cadets and tell them to get ready for battle. They're cracking the wall. We can't let civilians be in danger. Also tell she civilians to stay indoors." Hanji ordered.

"I'll meet you and all of the cadets at the quarters in ten minutes sharp." Hanji added. You nodded and saluted.

You ran and jumped off the wall, using your 3DMG to land safely on the rugged stone in the town. You both hurried to the HQ. Levi ordered someone to evacuate all of the citizens inside their houses and also to gather all if the cadets at the quarters.

You stood with the cadets. Atylia, Levi, and Mark were at the front, waiting for Hanji to show up. You hear footsteps behind you. You turn to see Hanji walking up to the front. She gets everyone's attention and starts talking.

"If you all don't know, there are mutant titans invading the wall. Their unusual strength is tearing up the wall. As you all know, I am against letting that happen! So, let's go kill some titans! Who's with me?!" She shouts. Everyone cheers including you.

"Great! Group up on the wall in 5 minutes!" Hanji runs off and makes her way to the wall. Levi walks off with you following. You look into his eyes, noticing the small hint of worry.

"Are you okay?" You ask. Levi looks at you and nods. You didn't believe him at the time, but you ignored it for now.

Everyone was gathered at the wall, waiting for the cue to charge. You were beside Levi. You still felt worried for him. He's been really down lately.

"L-Levi?" He moves his attention to you. You wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him. He kisses you back sweetly.

"Are you sure you're fine?" Levi nods and hugs you. You hug him back.

"Alright everyone! Let's kick some titan booty!" Hanji cheered. Everyone ran off the wall, slicing napes and spilling blood. You let go of Levi and kiss his cheek as you ran off. You spotted a titan and spun around it until you were in the nape region. You reeled into its nape, slicing the flesh clean off.

This all went on for a while, titans were coming from all directions. The titans got more gruesome and harder to kill as time flew by. You were massacring a bunch of titans until you saw Levi. You finished of the titans and look over to Levi who's across the field. You spotted a titan behind him, your heart stopped as it grabbed him. You sped up and started maneuvering towards him. The titan pulled at his limbs, breaking his 3DMG and blades. You shot you hooks as fast a you could. The titan lifted Levi up by his head and open it's mouth. A tear made it's way down your face.

"Levi! Nooo!!!" You cry. The titan drops him in. You zoom by, slicing its jaw clean off. You dig inside of the titans mouth, trying to find your lover. You twisted your ankle while slipping on the goo inside of its jaws. Two titans were closing in on you two. One of them started stomping really loudly, making you slip more and more. You finally saw the man and grabbed him. You tripped as you made your way out of its toothy mouth. The titans started stomping and smashing the ground, making you trip and fall. You hold onto Levi and finally managed to hook onto the wall. You climbed it, trying not to let go of Levi.
