Four

I sigh in relief as soon as I step into my house. Tris greets me with a hug and a smile. Then every single one of the kids, all but Taylor, make the hug become a group hug.

"Taylor!" I call for her to come down. She slowly comes, her expression is dark. I've never seen her like that.

"Sit down, tell me what's wrong." I say.

"Nothing." Taylor says, vaguely, like how I would.

"I'm sure it's something." I say flatly, trying to get her to talk.

"Its nothing." She replies more boldly.

"Taylor." I say in a warning tone.

"Just leave the poor girl be, Tobias. Probably just a rough day, Right Taylor?" Tris says.

"Yep." Taylor confesses. I know Tris was just covering for her, but if they don't want to tell me, they don't want to tell me.

I nod as I hear knocking at the door. I glance over my shoulder. Something must be up. And I don't mean the sky or ceiling. Why is Eric here?

"Hold on, ok Taylor? We have business to deal with." I say.

I get up and answer the door. Eric doesn't seem very happy. I step outside and close the door. I feel my face be as I was when Eric and I were eighteen, Dauntless-Transfer Instructors. I can't believe that we're 34. Tris and Caleb, her 'brother' and my 'brother'-in-law, are 32. he doesn't act like one though...

"Why do you always use that stupid Dauntless Instructor face, Tobias?" Eric says as he glares at me. Its my face Eric, deal with it.

"Why are you so strict with these unnecessary rules, when you love the smell of blood?" I vaguey answer his question with a question.

"I don't know. YOU tell me" Eric says. I smirk.

"What up?" I say.

"Taylor was the last to deal with the phone. Anyways, the phone had gotten destroyed. He probably got kicked out, which is good. We need someone on our side that thinks like them." Eric says. Ohhh, right. The whole phone thing. That must explain Taylors' mood.

"Tyler was only in The Rulebreakers because his friends where in it. I could tell. Mara and him, I can tell don't get along very well." I say, factually.

"Amnesia. Mara is called Amnesia now. She changed her name." Eric corrects me. I roll my eyes and act casual.

Eric punches my jaw. I rub where he punched me at. Oh it is ON NOW!

"Ow.. stupid Pansicake." I mock Eric. Eric leaves with a smirk on his stupid face and I just go into the house.

I go over to the couch, fall onto it, move my arms over my eyes and fall asleep. It's been a long time since I have fallen asleep, 41 hours, or about two days ago.

Eric

I walk out the door of Four and Tris's house. I came here and got the answer I needed. I knew my son was a rebel and I hated not being in control. I should have stopped him while I still could. He killed his mom. It is his fault all these rules are the way they are: to guarantee no one gets hurt.I'm not even going to call 'that' my son anymore. He lost that title when he ran from a fight just to show what a coward he is.

I walk into my apartment and go to my room. I go into the closet and push the lightswitch up and down three times, I hear the click and open and close the door. I smirk as I see the back wall rotate to a lab. Similar to where we created the serum for the army to kill people in Abnegation. I see Jeanine's daughter Maribeth standing in white high heels, a red dress that went mid-thigh, a lab coat and some scientist goggles. Her bright blonde hair was curled and reached a little bit below her shoulder blades.
