Taylor

I go back to my room, but I’m almost there when someone, or something grabs my elbow. I turn my head and look over the shoulder that I feel presser on. Tyler.

“Hey, I see you’re in the sneaking mood today, maybe we could go to the Dauntless faction today?” Tyler says.

“Maybe. Also, depends on how soon Dads’ Plot goes into motion. We’re under House-Lock. Just for the safety of all of us from Eric.” I say.

“Makes since.” Tyler admits.

“Hey! Just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean whatever I say doesn’t make any sense, Weston.” I say defensively.

“I never said that, Taylor. But I’m here, under the same Lock-down as you. I think I’m adopted. Same with Luke.” Tyler says.

“Luke is better to anyone of the siblings, even than me…” I say, my voice travels.

“You’re not very nice.” Tyler teases.

“You’re the one to talk, after the ‘incident’. I thought you liked me, and then you do that! Ugh! Boys, ya never know where they’re coming from.” I say as I shake off his grasp.

“Ugh, girls. They’re minds are always mixed up.” Tyler says. I feel myself frown and I turn around and go to where I was going anyway, my own room.

“Hey, Taylor, everything alright? You seem angry.” Amnesia says.

“Ask the guy with the bullet mark. I’m going to be alone in my room. I’ve had enough of everyone today.” I say, my eyes a little cloudy with tears of anger.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, what happened?” Luke asks.

“None of your concern.” I say, sternly.

“Someone has gotten you angry. Who was it?” Luke says.

“I think you know.” I say, like my dad.

“Eric? Eric is here?!” Luke says, trying to be serious, but I see a smirk on his face.

“Don’t even kid around like that…. Anyways, it was Tyler.” I say.

“Someone’s serious. C’mon, open up. Hello, Taylor, you in there?” Amnesia says, grinning.

“Stop. Just let me go to my room..” I plea.

“Don’t let her! She’s gonna be like Elsa and conceal herself!” Tyler says as he jogs up.

“What did you do to make her so mad?” Luke asks. The blur of worlds in my house makes me a little shocked. I tune out the conversation and I sink to the floor and one of the dogs runs up to me and licks me. This one is Chance. He’s smaller than the other dogs, not by much, but still. The biggest we have is a Huskey. That’s the one that Lucy was trying to ride like a horse to breakfast. Chris comes up and hugs me. I hug him back and he sits down beside me, cuddling with me. I forgot what it was like to be so happy. Lucy comes running up and hugs Chance. I laugh. He is so much smaller than her, luckily, he’s sturdy. They’re all ya know. Then, he comes Clara. She looks at me like I’m an Alien from Outer Space.

“What? I’m your sister, Clara.” I mumble.

“Yeah, I know. You’re just weird.” Clara says, loud enough so the entire house can hear.

“No, she’s average.” Luke says, a smirk on his face.

“Nah, she’s cool.” Amnesia says with a smile.

“I’d say what Clara said…” Tyler says, with a grin.

“Clara, why would you say that?” Mom says, walking in. Dad is behind her. He walks past her and helps me up and hugs me.
