Dan, Jeff and Lisa were back at the cafe. Martha too had joined them.
Lisa had bought coffee for all of them, finally understanding why the girl at the counter sneered at her. She had even gone a step ahead, and apologized for everything— even though she wasn't sure what 'everything' was.
"Agatha confessed to everything yesterday." Said Jeff.
"So they're going to get Elaine too?" Asked Martha.
"Yes. They have Agatha's testimony and those pages from Ashley's diary— luckily Agatha has still got them. Mom said we have a strong case." Said Lisa with a smile.
"And what about Blake?"
"He didn't know anything, apparently. He just knew Elaine had no power to leave. It was a dealing between the families only."
"What about you?" Asked Dan.
Lisa smiled. "I told Blake everything. Mom says I'll have to attend therapy. I don't know how serious my case is."
"Will they have you committed?"
"I don't know. But if that's what it takes, I'm ready."
"If that's what it takes, I'll be waiting." Said Dan, putting his hand on top of hers.
Two other hands joined his.
"We'll all be waiting." Said Martha and Jeff nodded beside her.
