The Guardians/Kris x Susie: Chapter 1 - Part 1

Preparation

Susie stood outside the door. Just as she was about to leave, she heard him sing. To her, it was the most beautiful thing she heard in years. His pain, his sorrow, and his suffering in his voice made her tear up again. Once the singing ended, she wiped off the tears and walked off to the village.

Kris sat there for the doctor to come back. He didn't have much time left. They were about to break down that door and massacre everyone there. It'd be genocide. Suddenly, Kris heard a voice...

Hello again partner.
You again.
What can I say? I'm something..special.
What do you want now?
Nothing dear. Nothing at all.
Show yourself. To make sure you aren't in my head.

The silence was cut by a loud shocking noise. Kris looked down.

"Hello friend."

Kris looked up to see a figure. He couldn't see properly, but he saw two red eyes staring back at him. They were wearing some kind of..sweater. The lights came back, and Kris saw the full figure.

"C..Ch...."

"Chara."

Chara stood there with a smile on their face. It was an evil smile. Kris knew this wasn't good. And he just had to say it.

C: Now that I'm here, I'm here to bargain.

K: What is it?

C: If you give me your soul, then I can fight off this..army.

K: No! Not ever. Knowing you, you'll step out of line.

C: How do you expect to fight off an army?

K: I...I can use mercy.

C: My god. You are useless. You can't even decide how to fight. How can someone actually like you?

Kris sat down to realize. Susie probably didn't even like him. He couldn't even stop the King. He might as well be dead...

C: Hah. Just...don't try anything on me.

K: ...I want out.

Kris took out the Jevilsknife and aimed it to his soul.

C: Stop! I control your soul. We made a deal!

K: Then I'm breaking it.

Without another word, Kris broke his soul, breaking out of his deal. Chara started fading away.

C: I'll be back. I'll come back and ruin your existence!

With that, Chara was faded out.
