The Guardians/Kris x Susie: Chapter 1 - Part 1

Kris awoke from his dreams and looked around. He then remembered that the others slept in the castle for the night. By day standards, it would be a Saturday. Today, and they'd go back home. That got Kris thinking, what happens afterwards? Do they just go back to their normal lives?

Kris got up from his bed, surprised that he slept in his armor. Tori would kill him. He looked around in his room. Apparently, they got their own room for the night. He got used to it back home. After Asriel left... Kris unlocked the door and walked out into the hallway. Doors beside his had been locked. Probably the others. Kris walked around until he finally found a balcony. Noone was on it, and it seemed like a quiet place. Kris opened the door and walked to the edge.

*Kris pov*

I just stood there. I didn't say anything or look around. I just stood and thought...

Noone else is gonna have an experience like me. Noone is ever gonna be like me. Noone will ever know me. It's almost like I exist with no purpose. Like I'm just something to be used. I'm without reward...

*Narrator pov*

Kris pulled out the knife. He stared at the blade. It's shiny, clear blade reflected Kris. He saw his own face. He was disgusted with it. He then pulled off enough layers to show his wrist. He had the urge, so he filled it.

"Kris!"

He turned around to see Susie with a shocked expression on her face. His wrist bled, his heart racing.

K: I..I'm sorry.

Susie raced over to fully see the wound.

S: Why..Why would you do this?

K: Because nothing and noone ever cared...

Susie was shocked, her eyes filling with tears. She finally gave in, and cried. She cried harder then any other time she cried. Maybe in her whole life.

S: I will help you..

K: Don't pretend that you care.

Susie brought him inside to find a medic. It didn't take them a while to find one, but they were in a hurry, so it became quicker.

While in the room, the doctor went off to grab some tools in another room. While he was alone, he sang...
