The Guardians/Kris x Susie: Chapter 1 - Part 1

Shock

Kris woke up in his bed. He opened his mouth to say something, but he noticed. Usually, Toriel would wake him at this hour. He knew something was up. He got up from his bed to investigate.

He walked out into the kitchen. Toriel was cooking eggs on a pan.

T: Oh hello Kris!

K: Late to wake me?

T: No, I'm afraid. There was an incident at the school today. School may be cancelled for a few days.

Toriel turned on a small radio near the sink.

?: Breaking news. A student was murdered here at this school. Poilice identify the student as Karen Bakerfield.

At this moment, Kris dropped to the floor, clinging to a chair. He felt fear crawl down his spine.

T: Oh dear. Are you ok?

K: ..Y..yeah.

Kris sat down in the chair and started thinking. How can this be? He then connected the dots. It all fell in his hands.

K: Oh my god..

T: What is it?

K: I just realized something.

T: What?

K: You make great scrabled eggs.

Kris decided not to tell Toriel. She'd throw a fury that noone would avoid. He did however decide who to tell. The one person he trusted. After he ate his breakfast, he immediately slipped on blue pants and his green jacket. He grabbed his phone and dialed Susie's number. Surely she heard. Everyone had to have gotten to message, Kris thought. The phone picked up:

S: Hello?

K: Susie!

S: Kris! Are you ok?

K: Yeah. I'm assuming you heard?

S: Yeah. I heard when I woke up.

K: Well, I was hoping that we'd get to hang out today and talk about stuff today.

S: Sounds like a plan. Can I come over?

K: Of course! You're welcome here.

S: Thanks. I'll be there in a minute.

With that, Susie hang up the phone. Kris slipped his phone in his pocket and went down stairs. He headed towards the door.

T: Heading out?

K: For a moment.

T: Ok then.

Kris walked out the door and went into the yard. He walled out into the town. He speed-walked since he didn't want to be seen. Just as he was about to make a right turn, Susie appeared.

S: You didn't have to come get me.

K: Well, I felt I needed to.

S: Were you going to escort me to your house?

Kris's face lit up blushing. He put his hood up.

K: Shut up.

S: Make me.

They both locked eyes just for a moment. They didn't care who was watching or who was listening. Kris took his hood down.

K: Really?

S: Yes.

K: Sometimes I wonder how we even met.

S: Destiny maybe?

K: Could be true.

S: Anyway, shall we go to your place?

Kris took Susie's hand in his.

K: We shall.

They start walking towards Kris's house.

*I can explain why I've been gone. 1. was because I've been messing around with my presents. I hope everyone had a great Christmas this year! 2. is because it honestly didn't even hit me. Aren't I just the greatest? 3. is because of personel reasons. To sum it up, I got sad. But I learned a lesson! When your sad, you eat a bagel. If you don't have a bagel, get a doughnut. If you don't have those two, get them from the store. Your choice(What in the actual fuck am I talking about?).
