The Guardians/Kris x Susie: Chapter 1 - Part 1

Call to Arms

*I'm gonna try to stay on schedule for chapters, but I can't really promise anything...*

R: I must prepare for tomorrow...

Kris, Susie, and Noelle were inside the castle. They were watched vigorously by Leonidus, who kept giving them occasional glances to the three. Safe to say he didn't trust them.

K: If I may ask, what Is happening?

Ralsei turned to look at Kris. He had a look of fear and bravery in his eyes.

R: Apparently,there was an uprising against the Spade King. We gave the people an idea of mercy, and they believed us. But after, the King called his army to fight and capture us. They've been looking for me. They reached the Field, so we need a plan.

Kris was at a loss of words. Mercy was a side to stand on. But if it was out of the question, then they had to stand their ground. Fighting against them.

K: And mercy isn't an option?

R: I can't risk it.

L: They attack tomorrow by morning.

K: ...

Kris got up from his chair, and looked at the party he was with. He had no idea it would come to what would happen, but it has to happen.

K: I..need a moment to think.

With that, he left the room. The other four looked at each other with a fearful look. They didn't know what to think. And they had little time. Noelle got up from her chair to find Kris. She searched the Castle. She found a nearby guard and went up to ask them.

N: Excuse me, have you seen a boy with long hair walk around?

G: Yes, he went out that way.

N: Ok. Thank you.

She followed the direction to find him. And surely, she found him. He looked at the town deep in thought. She slowly walked to him. He suddenly started singing...
