Chapter 24

"Are you an alien?- no what if you're a fallen angel!" Taehyung starts spitting out question at you when he witnessed the scene.

"No. I'm not an alien and I'm not an angel." You say annoyed.

"Then what are you!"

"I'm a human with super strength, now can we just drop this conversation and move on" you yawn and stretch since it was late at night and you were tired.

Jimin notices and went towards you.

"Thank you for risking your life to save me" he says.

"It wasn't a proble-"

"But please don't do it again" he holds your hand in his gently and you look at him. His eyes were softened as he looks at you.

"But why? I'm you're bodyguard. That's what I'm supposed to do"

"That guy had a gun and you could've gotten shot, and losing you is the least thing I wanna do." Jimin hugs you which makes you surprised.

"I'm fine, I mean I've defended myself multiple times."

"But you were scared"

"What no I wasn't!"

"Yes you were. When I came down, I saw you shaking while holding the man down. It was scary seeing a gun being pointed at you huh?"

"It is.. but it's my job. It's supposed to me before you. I signed the contract you gave me, and I'm willing to keep my promises. I have strength, which can help me protect you"

"Cut the crap y/n" Jungkook says and both you and Jimin look at him. "Just because you have super strength, doesn't mean you can do anything you want. You can still get killed! Plus you're a girl."

"Are you sexist? You think girls can't fight?" You scoff jokingly.

"I'm serious. I'm concerned about you. I don't think this is a good job for you."

"Well I signed up for it. I am willing to do everything I can to protect Jimin-"

"Y/n" Jimin calls your name and you look at him. "Next time, just be careful. I want you to be more safe instead of just going towards the man."

"But I want you to be safe-"

"Your safety is what I care most" Jimin confesses and you purse your lips.

Your heart suddenly starts beating fast, and you can almost heat it. Jimin is so sweet with his words and can literally melt your heart.

"Just." Jimin sighs. "Just make sure you're safe while you're doing this job. Losing you is the last thing I want to do"

"Alright chief" you smile at him and a slight tint of red appear on his cheeks from the cute smile you give him. He was gonna smile back but he felt to red so he looked away.

"Go to sleep" Jimin says. "We have school tomorrow"

"Alright, you guys do the same." You say and wave towards the three men before going upstairs.

Like a normal school day, you have the two men besides you, walking to class. Jungkook on the left, Jimin on the right. They're both sticking to you like glue and you don't understand why.

"I'm going to the bathroom" you say and the both still follow you. You face them with a "Are you serious" look on your face. "Are you kidding me."

"Sorry, I'll wait for you outside." Jimin says and Jungkook does the same.

You go inside and instantly you see your sister touching up her makeup. She looks up at you for a second and started doing her makeup again.

You went inside the stall and did your business.

After you were done, you leave the stall and washed your hand with Wendy next to you, still doing her makeup.

While you were washing your hands, she speaks up.

"Dad is coming back home" she speaks. "Tomorrow."

Your eyes widen and you freeze in your spot.

"Why?" You asks her and she shrugs.

You and Wendy both haven't seen your dad in years, and it was odd for him to just come out of nowhere, and you definitely did not want see him. Especially when he left you alone with the devils.

"I don't care" you say while grabbing paper towels to wipe your hands. "I don't ever wanna see him again" you say. "He left me, and I have no attention of seeing him after all those years.

"Us" Wendy says. "He left us" she corrects. "And I don't want to meet him either" she rolls her eyes.

You ignore her and left with teary eyes, remembering the past.

Jimin and Jungkook spots you and runs up to you. They both see your sad looking face.

"What happened" Jungkook asks first before Jimin could. He looks at the girl's bathroom and spots Wendy coming out.

He's about to go towards her and talk to her, but you stop him by holding his shoulder.

"It wasn't her fault" you say and sigh.

Jimin notices your sad face and grabbed your hand to lace it together. Obviously, your face turned red like a tomato and you wiped your tear away, feelin a lot better. You both walked and sadly forgot about Jungkook being with you guys.

Jungkook felt like a third wheel. He just walked behind you two with a broken heart.

"So what happened?"

"Nothing happened-"

"Don't lie. I know that face" he says. You release a sign and looked down while walking.

"My dad." You breath out. "He's coming tomorrow" your words came out shaky because didn't really know how to exactly feel in the situation. "I'm kinda scared and nervous, but I don't if I even should be."

Jimin lets go of your hand and put an arm around your shoulder to bring you guys more closer to each other. You bit your lip and tried not to smile.

"Whatever happens, I'm always here for you." He says and you smile. "I'll be your Bodyguard as well and I will protect you from any thing that harms you" he says confidently.

"Thanks Jimin" you say while now smiling brightly.

"Anything for you" he winks and chuckles.

I have finals soon so I won't be updating For a week :/
