ch.3 saving another one

I was walking along the train tracks and waving to the train that passed by. I heard sounds of footsteps coming towards me so i looked from the corner of my eye and saw another greaser. From the brige i saw the same mustang from earlier throwing things. Either at me or the greaser, the greaser came up to me," hey what are you doing walking alone " he asked me.

I just gave him an annoyed look and turned to him," what do you want " i asked him. I saw a socs from the corner of my eye throw something at us. Before it could reach the greaser i kicked it away and kept walking. And so did the greaser." Hey you didnt awnser my question " he said, i looked at him and smiled " im sorry i couldnt reach the phone please leave a message " i snapped." You know us greasers shouldnt walk alone " he said once more. I was just about done with this boy already, i wanted him to leave me alone.

"Listen kid im not a greaser or a socs so im perfectlyfine walking alone. Its you who needes to worry " i told him. I was a street away from my house until the greaser stopped in front of me blocking my path." My names ponyboy whats yours doll ", my eyes were filled with rage after he said doll." My names not doll it's reble " i corrected him." Now move before i make you " i said in a harsh voice. But he didnt budge, i cracked my nuckles and was about to punch him but i stopped when i heard car tires. I looked back and saw it was the same car from earlier.( were gonna get jumped if we stay here ) i thought, i grabbed ponys hand and started to run." Whoa what are you doing " he asked me. I just ignored him and kept running, we were a block away from my house until car stopped in front of us.( shit ) i mentally shouted, i grabbed my red switch and held it in my hand, "get behind me " i told him.

The five socs came out of the car and stood in front of us." Hey greaser " the one in the blue Madras said, i guess they were after ponyboy not me." You guys better get outta here unless you want your asses kicked again " i spat." Watcha say you little bitch " a blonde on said." She said to get outta here " pony stepped up. They all started to laugh, i turned around and gave pony the switch." Here use this " i told him, " what about you ?!" He asked. I got in my stance and smirked at him " dont worry baby i got this " i said winking. I saw him blush a bit then i turned to the socs.

"So are you gonna step up or what " i shouted at them, the blonde one stepped up." Sure why not " he said. I charged at him and kicked him across the face knocking him out. Then i went for the one in the madras, i grabbed his arm and twisted it and kneed him in the stomach. I saw pony taking on the other four so i went to help him. I drop kicked the one with the blade and got the rest off of pony. We heard footsteps running towards us and i back flipped away from the socs. A gang of greasers came running out of nowhere and started beating the socs. They got back in the car and drove off.

I ran up to ponyboy and helped him up," you okay " i asked. He nodded and handed me the switch but i gave it back to him." Keep it " i told him," really?!"," yea why not i have many others " i said. I gave him a smile and he gave me a smirk.

"So you must be reble " a deep voice said, i turned to who said it." Who wants to know " i said, a guy in a flano came up to me and poke my cheek." Oh she's pretty darry can we keep her " he asked. So know i knew. They were the curtis gang. I pushed his hand off me and crossed my arms," didnt your mother ever tell you to never keep girls hostage " i told him, a guy in a Mickey mouse shirt busted out laughing. A guy in a ripped jean jacket stepped up and said" Heres my question what are you ".

Pony stepped up," shes not a socs nor a greaser so shes cool ". A guy in a leather jacket came up and wrapped his arm around me." So reble what are you doing out here saving greasers like us " he said. I took his arm off me and stood on the other side of pony," its just what i do when im bored" i told 'em. I looked at the sun and saw it was about 2." Well i gotta get going nice meeting you guys " i said, pony stood in front of me," hey if your not doing anything later you wanna catch a movie with me, dally,and johnny "
I just gave him a smirk," sure kid " i said and i started walking
