ch.8 a curtis visit

(Y/n's pov )

We made it to the curtis resident's, i was about to knock on the door but dally and johnny just walked in.( Well then that explains it ) i thought, johnny noticed that i didn't walk in so he held out his hand," come on ". I took it and walked inside, i looked around and it was way smaller then my house. I felt someone creep up behind me so i looked from the cornerof my eye and it was ponyboy trying to surprise me.

I smirked and tackled him to the ground,he started to laugh and tried to get up," yea nice try pony " i said. Johnny jumped on top of me and soon the others did and dally was the last one. It felt like i was gonna suffocate," oi get off you're fucking heavy " i shouted, they soon got off and i helped pony up." Hows it going pony ","good what about you ". 

I just shrugged, a guy came up behind ponyboy," so pony are you gonna introduce us to your girlfriend " he said. I chuckled," i can assure you i'm not his girlfriend but i am a girl that saved him from getting jumped " i said. A man in his 20's came from the kitchen," oh and we forgot to thank you for that " he said, i smiled " it was no problem it's just what i do ".

He smiled back at me, i turned to ponyboy " so aren't you gonna introduce your friends to me " i asked. He snapped back into reality," oh yea thats steve, two-bit, soda , and darry "." Well nice to meet you all im reble " i said. Two-bit stepped up," so why do they call you reble " he asked," i dont know why do they call you two-bit " i said back.

Soda started laughing and so did steve, dally wrapped his arm around me " hey pony reble said she can beat you in a race " he blurted out, pony raised an eyebrow " i'm the star of the track team are you sure you wanna do this ". I look at dally and winked," yea i did say that and i do wanna challenge you " i said, i walked outside and waited for ponyboy to come out and see if he was gonna do it or not. He came out and so did the rest," darry can you host for us please" i asked, he nodded." First one around the block and back here wins" he said.

"Dont go easy on me cause im a girl ponyboy " i said, he looked at me " don't worry doll i wont go full speed ". I just rolled my eyes and got into my running stance." GO!" and with that i dashed off, i sprinted so fast i was already half way in less than a minute. I looked back and ponyboy was a couple of feet behind me. I turned the corner and saw that the road was covered by boxes, i back flipped  over them like nothing and made it back to the curtis house. I stopped and wasn't even out of breath, they guys looked shocked," what?" I asked. They just went back to their normal faces and looked towards ponyboy he wasn't out of breath but he was tired.

I walked up to him and kissed his cheek," dont worry you'll get better one day . Now who wants to go to the dingo it's on me " i asked. The boys got all excited, i grabbed pony and gave him a piggyback ride to the dingo as the rest were following me pony tapped on my head," so you wanna be a part of our gang?" He asked me. I looked up at him " sure why not " i said, pony turned back and gave the guys a thumbs up and they all started cheering.
