( Y/n's pov )
Today was the court day and flace took me shopping for some clothes. I was shaking the entire way, when we walked in we saw socs giving us looks, i mean i can't blame them, i killed their friends. My lawyer introduced herself and so did i.
" Hello ms. L/n its nice to meet you " she said, i shook her hand " yes it's nice to meet you too ". She gave me a look " you're quite young to be in court how old are you " she asked, i responded with " 16 ma'm " . Her face said it all, we sat at our table and discussed what we needed to do.
An officer came in," all rise for the judge ", we all stood up but i saw no one was there to prosecute us . I saw the gang in the back looking good, i waved slightly then put my attention to the judge." Court is now in seccion " she said, we all sat down, but i had my journal to write in." So ms. Y/n is it, it says here you are on trial for murdering two people at a playground. Care to explain why " she asked. I nodded " yes ma'm. It all started at a drive in, me and my friends were going to see a movie but as we left with some new friends that decided to tag along with us a mustang came behind us filled with drunk socs and the victims. We got into an argument but we left, then as i went to go take my friend ponyboy home i had gotten into a fight with his brother, he slapped me so i ran away to the playground with johnny and ponyboy. The victims found us and wanted to start a fight so thats what we did, it had escalated bad because they were drowning ponyboy and they had johnny badly beaten up. They were about to beat me up and rape me so i grabbed my pocket knife and stabbed two of them to death, as i stabbed them it reminded me of my father beating my mother to death with his hands. Soon i got carried away and killed them. Then we....... i decided to hide because ..... well ....... i was scared to face the consequences of killing someone again".
The judge gave me a look then looked back at the file," it also says you murdered your uncle and you went through bad abuse and was alomst close to death. Am i correct " she said. I nodded, she looked at her watch and called darry to the stand.
( time skip )
Everyone had testified and it was time for the people to say something," in the case of Y/n l/n for the murder of bob and randy in the second degree we find her ". It was a pause for a moment then it came
" Not guilty"
Tears came to my eyes as i smiled and looked at the guys they were in tears to. So was dally. The judge had a smile on her face ," Y/n l/n you have been decided by the people of the court that you are not guilty of second degree you are now here by put under the custody of darrel curtis ".
I ran up to the judge and hugged her, she stood still for a moment then hugged back," thank you " i said. " your welcome dear " she replied, i ran out of the court room a free woman then the guys came after.
Darry held out his arms open for a hug
" Welcome to the family "
