Ambers pov

Monday

I swung open the familiar cold metal handle of the door, that lead me into the crowded hallway of my school.

There was nowhere worse I could think of being right now. I was so done with school, and all the idiots in it.

All I wanted was to get the good grades I needed, and focus on getting into the college of my dreams.

I could feel everyone's eyes on me as I slowly made my way down the hall; and I knew exactly why.

People were still talking about what happened on Friday night.

One face in particular was drawn to me.

Anna's bright blue orbs stared widely at me, as she made her way over to where i was.

I inhaled a deep, internal breath as she walked over. To be honest, I was pissed at her for letting me get in that state at the party.

Her face looked stressed and concerned as she stopped at my locker; where I was now stood.

"So, you are still alive." Anna rolled her bright eyes at me, as she shook her head. "Where have you been bitch?"

She now had a small smile pulled at her lips, although I didn't return the gesture.

"I could ask you the same question." I muttered quietly, as I disregarded my best friend and began packing my books into my locker.

Anna scoffed from beside me, and I could feel her eyes following my every movement. "Alright sassy. What's with the bitchy attitude this morning?"

I took a deep breath before slowly turning to face my friend again. "Friday night? How could you let me get that drunk, and then let me embarrass myself in front of everyone?"

My eyes widened along with the raise of my voice as I let out my exact thoughts, taking Anna by surprise.

An obnoxious scoff left her mouth as she rolled her eyes, looking away from me. "You're kidding right? You can't expect me to take care of you the whole time you're at a party."

"No Anna, I just expect you to be a fucking good friend." I defended harshly.

Anna's jaw dropped slightly as her lips curved upwards, thinking I was joking. "You've got to be kidding me, right?"

Before I had time to answer though, we were joined be a new; very unwanted presence.

"Here she is! The beauty herself." Both Anna and I turned to be faced with Caleb, who was now stood in front of us.

"You put on quite a show Friday night, Amber. I know, I especially loved it." I grimaced at Caleb as he licked his slimy tongue over his top lip, smirking at me.
