"Thinking bout you, do you think about me?"

Ambers pov

Friday, 12pm

A blurry ocean of figures and shadows crowded around me, screaming and cheering as I pulled down my last item of clothing; leaving me in just my underwear.

"Go on Amber!" A distant voice called from somewhere in the surrounding crowd.

"If you do this, it'll be legendary." Another random voice called, edging me on.

I inhaled a deep breath, as my eyes concentrated as hard as they could on the swimming pool; which currently just looked like a distant blur ahead.

Everything inside my mind was telling me not to do it; but there was this overpowering drunk voice inside my head, telling me to jump in.

After a few moments, I forced my body forward as my legs sprinted with full force towards the water.

A few seconds later and my body was stung with cold water all over, and the sound of cheering and applauding was drowned out as I hit the bottom of the pool.

My arms quickly struggled to pull me up to the top, where I was met with the faces of amused and shocked teens.

"Are you all satisfied with me now?" I rolled my eyes, laughing as people continued to cheer me on.

"Hell yeah. That was fucking awesome!" Some guy I recognised from the football team smirked.

"You gotta jump from the roof this time!" Another kid added, which caught the attention of everyone around.

More people agreed and urged me to continue as they cheered and laughed.

Usually the idea of doing something like this was crazy to me. But, those were my sober thoughts, and right now I was anything but sober.

I pressed my lips together, as I contemplated the boys offer.

However, before I could respond, a large figure stepped in front of the large crowd; cutting everyone silent.

"Nah, that's enough now. Get out, we're going." The deep voice interrupted; their tone harsh and blunt.

I squinted my eyes to try and get a proper look at this shadow of a person, but my whole eyesight was just a blur of disfigured shapes.

Although I couldn't see the persons details, I could tell by their movement, that they were absolutely pissed.

"What makes you think I'm gonna listen to you?" My voice spoke out obnoxiously, causing a few people to let out low 'ooo's' in the background.

There was something about alcohol that gave people a newfound kind of confidence. With me, it was like I had a whole new personality.

The figure stood stern for a few more moments, before slowly stepping each foot closer towards the pool, then extending their arm out.

"Amber, I'm not doing this now." The low voice now suddenly became extremely recognisable. "Just take my hand and let's go."
