Chapter 15: What About the Bet

Claire's POV

"What the fuck dad? I agree in the training part but I didn't need them!"

Nakaupo sa sofa at nakatulala sina Ikoy sa akin, siguro ay nagulat dahil nakita nila ako sa isang marangyang bahay.

"Claire, I think it's better to have them with you. After all, they are the second best." Pag papaliwanang ni Dad saka tumayo.

Im wearing my nerd outfit today. Kakauwi ko lang sa school nang madatnan ko ang mga salot sa buhay ko na nasa loob mismo ng bahay.

"But Dad!" Pagpipigil ko pa din sa kaniya.

"Y-you're her what?" Tanong ni Ikoy na parang hindi makapaniwala.

Napabuntong hininga si Dad. "Claire, Go to your room and change. Make sure that you remove your disguise." Sabi pa nito sa akin. Umirap ako saka nagdadabog na umakyat.

Ugh, what is Dad's problem?!

Ikoy's POV

Uhmmm, What?

Why the heck is that nerd doing in a big mansion? Is she somekind of a maid?

But no! She heard him loud and clear. She called Mr. Park, DAD.

Now that's a suprise..

Ibinalik ni Mr. Park ang tingin sa amin. Napabuntong hininga ito saka napailing-iling na umupo bago magsalita.

"Mr. Magpayo, where were we again?" Tanong nito.

Tumikhim ako bago sumagot. "Sir, you are talking about your daughter and her gang being trained with us."

Napatango ito. "Right."

Nag dekwatro muna ito saka seryoso akong tinignan.

"Mr. Magpayo. I would like you to accompany my daughter and her gangmates in their training for two months. You are excused from any school activities, and will be given the highest possible scores. You will train in my vacation house in Tagaytay. Do you agree with me?" Sabi nito sa akin.

As I was about to open my mouth to retort back he stopped me by talking again."AND, I don't accept No for an answer."

Mabilis ang aking naging sagot. "Sure sir"

Ngumiti si Mr. Park sa amin ngunit napalingon din sa bumaba nang hagdanan.

A gorgeous girl-- more like a goddest was climbing down the stairs.

Her wavy straight jet black hair sways whenever she walk. Her long shaped legs looked like it was made by a sculptor. She has round pretty eyes and a long curly lashes. Her brows screams dominance and her lips are seducing me to kiss it.

Huh?

I shook my head, who is this girl anyway? Why am I attracted to her in a short period of time?

Is she the daughter of this man? Pero tinawag din naman ni Claire na Dad si Mr. Park. So are they siblings?

Wait, baka ampon lang si Claire then ginawa siyang katulong dito? But I can see that her father treats her nicely.

But ang layo naman nang agwat nang mukha nila ni Claire! Masyadong panget ang nerd na yon para ma-dikit sa mga Park.

Pero, Park din naman ang apelyido niya, So tanggap ba siya sa pamilyang 'to? Paano kung inaapi lang siya at pinagpapanggap na mabait sila kasi nandito kami?
