Chapter 9: Bad Memory

Xander's POV

I'm currently staring-yes, staring at the girl on the other side of the room.

I guess her name is Amber? Yes. Definately Amber. She looks so frustrated about her phone.

She keeps tapping it multiple times and then growl with frustration.

"Ugh! Bakit ba ayaw mong gumana?!" She's talking with the phone as if it'll reply.

Napalibot ko ang tingin. There's only the three of us here.

Me, Amber and their so called leader. Saan naman nagpunta si Lance at yung isang babae?

I mentally shrugged. It's actually none of my bussiness. So prying is not an option.

"Argh! Ano ba?!" Nabaling ulit ang atensyon ko sa babaeng nakaupo sa mahabang sofa.

I decided to help her. Baka kailangan na niya ng tulong.

Umupo ako sa tabi niya at kinalabit siya. Naiinis na lumingon siya sa akin. "What?!"

Napaiktad ako sa gulat. Geez. I thought she's the most quite of them all.

Napahilot ito sa sintido. "Im sorry. Naiistress lang ako sa phone ko."

Sinilip ko ang phone niya. Huh. Her phone is high class but neverless its full of green colored codes with black background.

Virus? Yup. Possibly virus.

"Where did you get the phone? Diba scholar kayo?" Tila nagulat ito sa tanong ko.

"N-nabili ko sa bangketa. Oo, sa bangketa. Dun sa tabi-tabi."

Napatango ako. "Ah. That explains the virus." Ani ko at masuyong kinuha mula rito ang phone.

"Ganito yan. There's this hidden app here, somewhere in the settings. All you need to do is to find it..." I said finding the app and then the momment I find it, I click it and the log and other stuff in the phone are all gone. "Bwala!"

Napatingin ako sa kaniya. She's leaning into me so that she could see her phone. I can smell her scent!

Hmm... So fresh. Like a lavander.

Ibinigay ko na sa kanya ang phone niya.

"How come I didn't know about that technique?" Anito na parang naguguluhan.

"How come you should?" I ask her. She look at me with pride.

"Because Im good at it!"

Napa-arko ang kilay ko. This girl is full of herself. Time to make her realize something.

I smirk. "Fine. Let's play a game. Let's hack each other's phone until it crash. Game?"

I saw excitement flicked in her eyes. Oh, this is truly exciting.

"You know how to hack?" Tanong nito sa kanya. He just smirk.

"Im a pro."

"Ohh.. Mister, I accept the challenge" Sabi pa nito saka inayos ang pagkakahawak sa phone.

"On my mark" I told her. "Ready... Set... Go!" We started hacking each other's phone. Typing like our life depends on it.

Good thing I update the security of my phone..

2 hours later...

Holy crap that was close! Muntik nang mapasok ang phone ko!

This girl is crazy in hacking. I can't even enter her phone.
