in one ear
out the other." yes, i know " you said.
but you didn't.
" yes, i'm listening " you said.
but you weren't.
" yes, i understand " you said.
but you did not.i nag you, i know, i know:
but it isn't to annoy you.
it's to let you know i care
if you hurt, eat, sleep, smile or don't.
i care if you want to do this, or that, and where, and with whom.i nag you because love isn't just letting your lover go off and do whatever they want.
boundaries are a vital part of whatever this is
and i wish you'd respect them.but when i nag to make sure you're safe it always goes
in one ear
and out the other.
