We got at our room at exactly 9:03. I was panting as I rested both of my palms on my knees. I took a glance at Niell, and that's what he did also.

Pagod na pagod kaming dalawa na alam kong kahit na sinong makakita sa aming dalawa ay iisiping tumakbo kami ng marathon.

Why were we running anyway?

Oh! It's because it's already 8:56, and school's bell rings at exactly 9:00. At heto kami nasa taas ng 7-floored hospital, tumatambay. I magine how long we are running. And how tired we were!

Nang buksan namin ang pinto papasok sa room namin ay nagtinginan sa amin lahat ng nasa loob ng room. Laking tuwa ko ng wala pa si Mrs. Dine sa loob. Lagi naman kasing medyo late kung pasok si Mrs. Dine. Siguro dahil na rin kakatapos lang ng break kaya ganoon, at medyo malayo rin ang faculty room, pero hindi naman ganoon kalayo na aabubutin ka pa ng 10 minutes, maybe she invested her time retouching. That's where most girls invest 50% of their time with.

Hinila ko na si Niell papunta sa upuan namin. He's still panting.

"You good?" Tanong ko sabay gesture ng okay sign, sabay tapat noon sa mukha niya, hinawi niya naman ang kamay ko at gumanti rin ng okay sign.

"Alive and kicking." He joked and sat properly, facing me. "Why were we running anyway?" He asked curiously, giving me a frown.

"The school's bell rings at exactly 9:00, meaning, tapos na ang break. And it's already 9:03! Ayaw din ni Mrs. Dine ang latecomers, buti na nga lang at wala pa siya." I explained, pero hindi pa rin nawawala ang pagkapagod ko. I'm still exhausted as hell!

Somewhere at 9:15, Mrs. Dine came inside our classroom still as gorgeous as ever, and I really envy her.

Matapos makita ni Niell si Mrs. Dine ay bumaling agad ito sa'kin.

"Uso ba sa school na ito ang fresh graduate na teachers? Mr. Lay is a fresh graduate. Is Ms. Dine too?" He asked curiously. And I can't blame him if he thinks that Mrs. Dine is that young.

"First of all, It should be Mrs. Dine. Second she's already 32, and she's also already a mother of 2 kids." Paliwanag ko.

Bakas sa mukha ni Niell ang pagkagulat. It's like he doesn't believe me.

"Nice joke, buddy." He said and laughed. His laughs were genuine. Baka akala niya talaga ay nagjojoke lang ako. Good luck for him if he doesn't believe me.

"I'm not joking." I said and pursed my lips, wearing a poker face.

"You're for real?" He asked, eyes almost popped out from its pockets.

"Yes." I said and remained to keep my face still.

"She doesn't look like one." Bulong niya sa kaniyang sarili, pero narinig ko pa rin naman, napailing din siya sabay lingon sa harap kung saan nakatayo si Mrs. Dine.

Like what Kian did earlier, tinawag rin ni Mrs. Dine si Niell para makapagpakilala sa harap. Unlike earlier, namula ang tenga ni Niell ngayon. Bagay na hindi ko naman nakita kanina. Is he love strucked by Mrs. Dine? Well, I can't blame him, but he can't be, because she's already married with two kids

The hours passed by like a blur like the last time, I'm still chatting with Niell as we walked towards the Parking Lot. It's already 3:00 kaya naman tapos na ang classes.

Then I remembered something. Wala nga pala akong sasakyan ngayon! And I'm supposed to go home with Kian! So I have to wait for him.

Unlike kasi sa students na 3:00 ang uwian, teachers stay and go home later than that. Pero depende naman iyon sa teacher kung 3:00 siya uuwi or late na. Well, Kian is one of those who stays later than 3:00. Kailangan ko talaga siyang hintayin, because I forgot that I didn't brought a car with me.
