Chapter 2 (After The Staff of Serapis: Greek Side)

Percy's POV

I've been waiting all day for Annabeth to get back from from the library where she was doing makeup work for school, and now the sun was starting to go down. I am getting really worried now, but right before I got up to go look for her I hear a knock on my cabin door.

"Hey Seaweed Brain. I'm back!" Annabeth ran in and I jumped off my bed to give her a hug. We didn't even care about the rule about two demigods from different cabins aren't aloud to be in the same cabin alone together. Annabeth and I stood there hugging for what seemed like forever. I mean like why did we miss each other so much when she was only gone like 5 hours? Eh. I don't care as long as I have my girl.

"Guess who I met?" She asked cheerfully.

"Umm-" I started.

"Gah your taking to long to answer! You know how you met that kid Carter when you had to get rid of that rogue croc on Long Island? And when you met that guy Carter! Well I met his sister today! And we just kicked some gods BUTT!" Annabeth did like a karate move.

"Cool. Did she tell you anything? Like where they are from? What they are? Anything?" I questioned.

"Yeah she told me that they were Magicians. I know what your thinking. Not 'magic trick magician'. I mean a real Egyptian Magician. Like all the Egyptian Gods are real! Isn't that amazing?!" Ok. Annabeth was way too happy and excited.

"Calm down and tell me like EVERYTHING that happened." I asked her.

"Ok well how it all started was when I was about to get onto the train to get here. Well I saw like this two headed monster, the heads were a Lion and a Wolf. I thought to myself then that that wasn't right, it should have three heads. Then it looked at me then ran in the opposite direction of me like it had somewhere better to be. So naturally I followed it. Then I followed it onto a train and it went down to the last cart. I fought it for a bit. Then it disarmed me so I decided to talk to it to give me some time to think of a plan. Then when the train stopped, a girl, Carter's sister Sadie, got on while fighting the front end of a black lab. I figured out that this was a statue broken apart, and that dog was the third peace. We fought together and we did everything we could to keep them apart." Annabeth went on like that for a while telling the story, taking up a good 20 minutes.

When she finished we heard the dinner horn sound. We rushed off to dinner.

"Now that were all here it is time to start. Don't forget to do your offerings t-" Chiron was cut off when the ground shook to what sounded like thunder magnified by 100 times then modified to a roar.
