Addison woke up the next day with her mind beginning to fly. thoughts and questions started flooding her brain as she remembered the night before.

the way she felt. the heat in her face. the sparks that burned into a small flame.

she smiled as she walked down the hall and onto the stairs. with a spring in her step and in an imbalanced state she stepped too far down the staircase and stumbled down the rest of the stairs.

A loud thumping noise filled the house as the impact of her body thumped down most of the staircase.

"Addison?! Did you fall down the stairs again?!" Cole called from the kitchen.

Addison rolled her eyes as she recovered quickly and continued down the rest of the stair way.

"I'm fine." she said once she reached the kitchen.

the smell of cooking pancake batter filled he air, along with eggs, and fruit. she headed over to the counter to grab herself a plate, and started dishing herself some of the food.

but when she took a bite, her stomach felt tight and would barely except the pancake. a warm feeling waved across her. she couldn't quite explain what it felt like, but it washed over her like she was the shore to an ocean.

once it had passed through she shrugged it off and sampled another bite of her food making sure she wasn't sick. but when hunters smile played through as she replayed the events of the night, that warm feeling washed over her once more.

she set down her fork trying to understand what this was...

anxiety?

anxious?

the feeling you get Christmas eve night?

she furrowed her brow as she tried to figure it out. but the only thing coming close was an excited feeling that made her feel sick at the same time.

yep.

Santa's coming.

she felt excited, and happy. but an unsettling feeling burrowed in her stomach...

she stood up and walked back to her room more careful going up the stairs. she opened to a hall and turned to her door, going inside and shutting it behind her.

it felt like a fire was lit up inside of her...

likes sparks became a burning feeling that caused her cheeks to turn red, and for her smile to deepen.
