a few days had gone by since Cole's Date with Audrey. Addison wanted to get all the details on how it was and she wouldn't stop asking him questions on the best night he'd had. but so far he had only got pink and responded with, "yeah, no, maybe, it was good." so Eventually she gave up, and was now in the kitchen sucking at a half melted mango Popsicle. she licked the sides hoping it wouldn't drip onto her hand and down her arm, like previous times when she went to enjoy a different flavored treat.

her phone buzzed twice notifying her that a text came through. she flipped her phone to show the screen and noticed it was from one of her new friends Michelle, she had started to become closer to.

she had met her when she met Audrey and had recently saw each other in person. so now they had been texting over the summer.

"how are you?" the text read. Addison picked up her phone and replied quickly. her thumbs tapping the tiny key board to form words, and then sent her response.

The conversation went back and forth on how their day was, how their week was, and how summer had been so far.

Addison smiled. she finally started to talk to people, and make friends.

the conversation continued, and led out to Audrey and Cole's date, then to summer plans, and then to another person Addison had met a few weeks ago.

She sighed when Michelle mentioned the persons name, 'Hunter'. Hunter was Audrey's Brother that was Addison's age.

Addison started to have a small crush on him, but still had a thing for Spencer from New York. Spencer and Addison would text occasionally, but lately he had been asking her about one of her friends from New York that he knew from school. Addison started to get suspicions.

She sighed again when she thought about New York, and Spencer. he had made her laugh at school activities, and made her feel happy, and got her excited to go to school. cause she knew he would make her happy again. and now he was probably starting to like one of her friends who went to school with him, and could see him everyday. while all Addison had was words and small conversations sent from miles away.

now she was slightly confused. she liked Hunter and Spencer.

she sighed a third time, her mind felt like it was folding into a pretzel. twisting, crossing over itself, and coming to a more confused shape. she didn't know how to undo it, and hoped she could find a loose end and pull it all out of the knot it had created. but she couldn't deny her feelings.

she placed her head in her palm and scowled.

"I can't tell of my brain hurts from all my confusing thoughts, or i'm eating my cold Popsicle to fast."

She licked the last piece of the cold treat and set her phone back face down on the counter top.

she relaxed more into her hand and let her mind wonder. her mind mainly flipped to summer activities, or Spencer and Hunter. would things work out this summer? would this be a summer filled with nothing like her last summers? or would this summer finally be something different?

she inhaled deeply.

she stood up from her stool and walked over to the trash can to throw away her stained faded orange and yellow stick from the contents that were stuck to it for weeks.

would her summer be Rememberable?

would her summer be something new?
