Juniper smiles and elderberry laughter,
A witches brew to happiness ever after
Potions of love brewed through soft spoken words;
Whispered between lovers, their heartbeats like wings of hummingbirds.
Witches descended from the ancients, young and new.
Hope glistening in their eyes,
the glow of their enchanted candles lit in honour of the moon so blue.
These witches cast spells of life, enchantments of bliss.
Hidden in our mundane world, they preside over love, fortune and even some who reminisce;
Working as healers and those that help us cope.
Or those who live in the dark, blind to the light; working tirelessly to maintain the hope.
Chamomile and Lemonbalm, to calm and destress;
Aloe vera and neem, for skin inflammations.
Every plant has a purpose; just as every person.
