Flower boy;
Your soft heart
And smiling eyes
Bruised and battered
By a cruel world
And the monsters who rule it
You surrounded your flower garden
The brightest hidden part of you
With a thorny wall
Protecting the light within with thick brambles
But even there a rose may bloom
And behind that wall
To those privy to your secret garden
My beautiful glowing sunshine star
You are the most radiant
Evanescent being
And no small minded
Insect crawling over the top of that wall will ever
Ever be able to infect your garden with darkness
It is only when you allow it to bring hate into your life
For him to attract more insects to crawl over the wall
Will he destroy you
