John's uncle takes us from the Mirror Realm, the day after the news of John's mothers passing, claiming that his nephew was in no state for guests. Once we had broken through the portal he had left, us not bothering to be particularly nice. An hour later a limousine picks us up, driving us to a helicopter that was waiting to fly us to Herta Macer.

Having private flights and limousine rides were fairly convenient...

I had texted Oliver last night as the sun had set, asking for a ride from the Mirror Realm entrance in Otira to Herta Macer. The drive from the small town had been scenic though very boring, we had passed over a river, sharing the name of the townships. The population of the town, if you could call it that, turned out to be 45 people...

It had been an hour drive to the airport and then an hour to Herta Macer. The views had been amazing, passing over large mountains capped with snow, bright lakes shining in the valleys. The sea had flown beneath us, the water was choppy but still had a tropical glow to it. We had passed over a few islands, and then the North Island was beneath us, lush forests and lakes filling the world, towns scattered across the island. Then we had landed in the small port city and taken a boat to the school.

I watch as the waterfall divides giving access to the large doors that slowly crawled open as the bridge had risen from the waters.

The limousine driver, which happened to be the same from our first visit to Herta Macer leads us through the door.

"Wow Hart." The sassy secretary smirks. "You're early for once."

The man rolls his eyes as the large iron gates to the school swung open revealing the interior. I take the school in again. The caverns side are lush with greenery, flowers of various colors bright like the grass despite the heat of summer. Rivers and waterfalls rush down the sides, leading inside the walls of the school. The grand tree in the middle hosts a bunch of chirping birds, the lush jade leaves wet with rain. A summer storm had been scheduled for the night, and lightning was supposedly expected.

I look to Denen who had been energetic all day as if the power the storm brought with it was making him more powerful. Even without power's, I had always felt the surge of energy storms brought with them, like a title wave of raw power. The security guard leaves us and we head for our rooms.

"New Zealand really is beautiful," I mention to Nora as we scale the spiral staircase going up to our rooms.

"I like Canada more." She smiles. "The pine tree's and freshness in the air..."

I nod. "You'll have to visit if we head home next year." I smile.

She nods as we break through the door.

We still hadn't discussed what would happen after the year was done. What would happen to us? The long-distance relationship with Rose hadn't worked out, but this one... I look to Nora, her vivid blue eyes and dark hair truly beautiful.

"If?" She questions.

"The Gifted Six and I don't choose where or when we go places, the Circle does." I sigh, touching my hand to the stone door of my room and pushing through as It opens.

My lights turn on as I place my bag on my bed, looking out at the underground cave Nora turns to me.

"I like your view more than mine." She admits leading me from the room.

I close my door behind me and follow her across the seating filled stone room, rain falling in the fountain. Nora opens her door I enter into the small space.

The room is the exact same as my own, except mirror her bed on the right wall instead of the left. Indeed, my view was better, hers of large ice like stalactites, the small glowing river running behind them.
