Chapter 52: Jessica and Kaile argue nothing new * part 2*

Jessica pov

It's nice to get a break especially from Kaile. I'm sorry but we're not close and I'm absolutely fine with that.

Anyway I answered Mettaghetti MTT's question and it was a yes . What was it ? I'll never tell.

I sat on bed already dressed at 4:49 in the morning. If my brother knew he'd have a fit. But I went to the kitchen and got a coffee mug and put some ice in it  then some diet soda.

I slightly open's Napstablook 's door to see if he was awake yet. The I saw him laying in bed asleep.

But I saw something on his computer screen . It looked like he was making a new mixtape or something . I didn't get to close though.

I shut his door and went back to my room to watch some anime. Oviously

I started with episode one of
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid .

I guess I kinda resemble Kobayashi a little.  We're both calm , we both have a job, and we both live with two people !

Pretty soon it was six in the morning and I went downstairs to sit down in the living room on the couch and continue watching anime there. I also checked my blood sugar.

151 in range not to high or to low that's good , good.

He came to the living room shocked to see me up.

" Are you alright darling ? Your up early "

" Couldn't sleep when I woke up so here I am" then Napstablook came into the room.

" When did you wake up ?"

" Six minutes after four "

( 4:06 basically and true story ....helpz me)

He shrugged it off  and grabbed his phone.  Then left for work he said to call if I needed him.

Just then I got a text from Arden

Arden: Hey I've been meaning to ask what were you and Mettaghetti MTT talking about the other day ?

Jessica: Nothing

Arden: Just tell me ! Please

Jessica: It's s secret !~

I looked at the time it was about seven thirty . So I decided to......

Arden pov

I was walking around the city mentally angry.

Man what is with Jess these days ?! What was she and Mettaghetti talking about ? And 'yes' , yes to what ?

Just then I see Kaile walking with Corina .

Great a spoiled snobby duo !

" I mean I am prettier right Cor ?"

" Most definitely more than that cousin of yours"

Just ignore them Arden, just ignore them ...

Then I saw Yami in my reflection of a window in a shoe store. Well Yami was my reflection. .

" Remember me ? "

" How could I not ?"  We were talking inside my head. So it kinda looked like I was staring at the window.

" Are ya really just gonna ignore them Arden ?"

" Well yeah , I mean Kaile and Jess fight enough I'm not getting in the middle of it "

" Whatever "

Yami disappeared the man that ran the store looked at me staring. I awkwardly walked away .

Just then I saw two more people walking and one of then was Jess and the other was ..... Mettaghetti !

Jess was wearing a purple t-shirt, black pants, white socks, pink white and orange Nikes, and a grey jacket.

Mettaghetti was wearing jeans , pink boots,  a black jacket , and a hot pink t-shirt that said

Your senpai is to busy noticing me ~

I blinked .

What the heck ?! Are they on a date ? Guess there's only one way to find out...

I'm not one for stalking but....

~~ 3 minutes later~~

I was following them now I just have to know what's going on !

Then stopped to get something to eat at Subway. Jess got a veggie sub, Mettaghetti got a meatlovers sub.

I was at a table far enough so they wouldn't see me , but close enough to where I could hear e'm.

" Thanks for coming today....."

" It's no problem dude so what did you need to talk to me about ?"

" Nothing major just stuff about the Christmas party "

That's it ? There not dating ? Boring...

I saw Jess narrowed her eye at me she kept her left eye hid with her hair.

Does she see me ?

She stared for a minute then looked back at him.

" Something wrong ?" Mettaghetti asked.

" No nothing's wrong "

I decided to leave and go home there not dating so I'm gonna just leave.

Jessica pov

After we got done talking about the Christmas party we walked home.

" Well this is my stop see ya at work next week"

" Hey um Jessica ?"

" Yeah ?"

" Do you wanna meet up on Friday tommorow ?"

" And ?"

" G-..Go on a d-date ?"

My soul cracked at the thought I didn't show it though.

Say no , say you appreciate the offer but no.

" Sure"

Sheet sheet sheet ! Did I just say yes ?!

" Great ! See ya tomorrow at ten !"

He took off ......

" What happened just now ?"
