Part 21 - Explanation

I don't know what happened downstairs, but the only thing i could listen to half an hour ago, were screams and several things that probably broke, hearing from the sound of it.

After 20 minutes of silence, i decided to go downstairs, because i'm way to curious.

I walk into the living room and i see Jaehyun, Taeyong and Taeil searching through the different closets.

"What are you guys doing?", i ask.

Being startled by me, Taeil jumps up and bumps with his head against one of the shelfs with useless junk on it.

"Ow... Uhm.... Hey Lilith. Do you know where all the cleaning stuff is?", he asks.

"Yeah, in the cellar. But why do you guys need it? The house has been cleaned yesterday.", i answer.

"Uhm... For nothing... Just... Just asking....", Taeyong stutters.

"Tae, you can't fool me. You are a really bad liar and i don't need to have Taeil's talent to see that you are trying to hide something for me. What is it?", i say.

"N...No.....Nothing...."

I sigh.

Jaehyun walks out of the room, probably taking the cleaning stuff out of the cellar for the thing that i may not know.

I am slowly becoming a little sick of the guys their bullshit.

After a few minutes of waiting, Jaehyun comes back out of the cellar and i see that he tries to sneak out of the room, like he doesn't want me to see him.

But that's pretty impossible.

Because he is like.... really tall.

And he isn't the most subtle person in the group.

"Jaehyun, why are you sneaking into the kitchen?", i ask.

"What... Uhm, i am not... I just.... Just wanted to place this in the kitchen.", he reacts, looking a little flustered.

"Why? Do you need to clean something in the kitchen?"

"Ow, nonono! He just wanted to place the cleaning stuff in the kitchen. No..nothing more.", Taeyong defends Jaehyun.

"Oh, but i will bring it into the kitchen, i just wanted to make a cake for Sicheng and Yuta's birthday.", i react.

"Oh but that's not necessary, i can do it myself... Uhm, Taeil, can you help me with.... with something in the kitchen?", Jaehyun asks.

"Yeah, sure.", Taeil reacts.

"Wait, i will take this.", i say, walking towards Jaehyun and taking the cleaning stuff out of his hands.

I want to open the door towards the kitchen, but Jaehyun stops me by pushing me against the wall and placing his hand just above my head.

I want to go past him, but he places his other hand next to my hips and bends his head towards me, so his face is just a few inches away from me.

"You can always try to overawe me. But you know, i'm not scared of you, little girl.", he breaths into my face.

Ow i know what he is trying to do.

He's trying to distract me so i will not go in the kitchen, but i will not fall into his little trap.

"Hey! Are you trying to provoke me?! You know i'm scared of nothing, not even the fact that you are way to close into my personal space.", i lean closer and whisper into his ear.

I lean even closer towards him and give him a soft kiss on his cheek.

Jaehyuns reaction is priceless!

His face becomes really red and he turns his head towards the floor. I use that chance to get away from the wall and open the door towards the kitchen.

The first thing i notice when i see the kitchen is chaos.

Extreme chaos.

Several things look broken, because pieces of glass and porcelain are spread over the entire kitchen floor.

I walk further into the kitchen and i see pieces of glass covered in blood lying on the floor, the kitchen counter and in the dishwasher.

The blood is still a little liquid so this must have been from not even an hour ago.

Johnny freaking Seo has done something stupid again! I thought i heard him screaming in the kitchen 50 minutes ago but i wasn't sure.

I hear someone entering the kitchen and i turn around.

It's Taeyong.

"Hey, what happened here? Did Johnny do this? Did he throw plates across the room or something? Did he cut himself... Or did he hurt someone else? Tell me! Tell me what that idiot did!", i yell for the second time today.

"He...He...He di...did no....Nothing...", Taeyong stutters.

"Who did it than?! A ghost?! You know i hate it when you guys hide something for me or lie to me! Just stop it and say it!", i say sternly.

I see how Taeyong, Taeil and Jaehyuns faces become sad, what probably means that they give up to hide it from me.

"Okay than.... I don't know what exactly happened, but when Johnny was alone in the kitchen, he suddenly got some kind of attack.", Taeyong begins.

"Yeah, like an attack caused by anger or frustration or something.", jaehyun continues.

"I have seen it and it was just really terrifying! I have never seen him like this before...", Taeil tells.

"But...But what exactly happened?", i ask him.

"He just began to yell things through the room, scolding at the walls and suddenly he started to throw plates through the entire kitchen. And when i thought he was calmed down and okay again, he suddenly broke a glass while just holding it in his hands. The glass cut in his hand so that's why there lies blood here....", He explains.

"I'm sorry Lilith....", Taeyong says.

"For what?", I say softy.

"I don't know.... Just because i need to say such an awful thing right now.... I really don't know what's wrong with him. I don't know what happened before he became so angry and frustrated. When Taeil came into the kitchen, he was already acting this way...", he explains.

"Anyway, it doesn't matter... He is an idiot and he will always be a stupid idiot! If you need me, i'm going to look for the other guys. Let's see if our Dream-Team has found something about those guys... What were their names again?"

"I really don't know... They are still at the stage of observation, so i don't think there will be more information yet...", Jaehyun says.

"Even if there isn't much information, i would like to see already a glance of maybe potential new recruits...", i say with a grin on my face.

"You know that they don't like it when someone looks into their stuff while they are working. It's better that you leave them alone for now. You can ask them later today if they want to show you some of the video footage.", Taeil says calmly.

"Yeah, maybe you're right... Maybe I should wait a little in before i interfere with their business. I will help you clean up everything."

And this was just the beginning of some very rough and fascinating days.....
