Chapter 3

Kalin's POV

*Call to Myles*

Kalin: MYLES!!!!

Myles: what Kalin?!!

Kalin: I know you wanted me to come over today to chill but I'm gonna be a little late

Myles: why??

Kalin: I have to go pick up my cousin Natalie at the airport.

Myles: *slow voice* Natalie (imagine him saying it with this face 😏)

Kalin: why do you say it that way?

Myles: i don't know. Cant wait to meet her though!

Kalin: Yeah yeah hahah. Well ill talk to you after I pick her up bye bro!

Myles: bye!

Natalie's POV

So this is it.. this is my last day. i slept in a little this morning and then got up and changed. I put on adidas sweat pants and a grey hoodie. I slipped on my black and white nike roshes and then headed downstairs to tell my dad what me and aunt Starlah had talked about the last night. her and i exchanged numbers to keep in contact. My flight boards at 11 and its 10 right now. My dad told me he'd drive me to the airport so he could help me check my bags. I brought all my bags down stairs and then brought them outside to load into my dads pick up truck. We arrived at the airport and checked my bags.

"Well i guess this is it.." i said to my dad, trying to hold back the tears. he smiled at me and pulled me into a hug. "I love you pookie." He said to me. "I love you too dad."

I had a backpack on for a carry on. I looked at my dad one last time before finally saying goodbye. I waved at him and turned to start walking to the baggage security. "Have fun in California!!!!!" He yelled, then turned and walked away. I got through security perfectly fine and then headed towards my gate. I texted Starlah and told her what was going on.

Soon enough it was 11 and they were calling everybody to board. "Flight 72 to California start boarding please."

The plane ride is over thank god. I hate planes i always have. I texted Starlah to let her know I had landed at LAX. She told me that she had told Kalin about me coming to Cali because she had gotten called into work and needed him to pick me up. I cant wait to see him! I walked around to look for him. I didn't really know what he looked like since i haven't seen him in so long. Basically i decided to look for the typical tan skin and green eyes that runs in the White family hahah

I walked around for a good 10 minutes when finally i saw a guy wearing dark wash skinny jeans, a snap back, and a tie dye hoodie that said 'K&M' on it in white letters. The hoodie really gave it away lol

I walked over to him and he instantly recognized me because of my really long thick curly hair. "Natalie!!!!" Kalin screamed my name so loud people started looking at us! I ran up to him and he hugged me picking me up and spinning me around. "Kalin oh my gosh it feels like its been forever!" I managed to get the words out but it was hard considering he was squeezing me to death. "Because it has been forever!!! Hahahah" he laughed while putting me down. "Lets go to my car and get home. Myles is dying to meet you." He smirked at me. I had forgotten about Myles, I've seen only a few pictures of him but I've never met him in person. We drove home and talked about random stuff on the way there. I checked the time and it was around 3:30 pm.
