Devna POV
My brother and I have been running for three days with little food and water. While I was lost in thought I didn't notice that we are in lands with lush green grass.
As I was looking around my brother, Davindar, shouted "Water! Look! Look Devna!".
I look where he was pointing at and thought it was a delusion. We ran to the water like it is what the last thing on earth. After we get our drink we hear deranged laughing making me and Davindar in a fighting stance, growling. We see the tall grass move and there come 3 hyenas. As it comes closer to us a slash my paw against the right one face. He howled in pain.
Thinking that these lands must have a king so I shout "Davindar GO GET HELP!" he looks at me crazy but goes. I bite the left one on the leg but while I'm doing that the middle one bites me in my back leg. I have tears forming in my eyes but I know I have to keep fighting.
