Pridelands

Devna POV

"Bye, mom," I say while nudging my head against hers.

"You gonna leave without saying bye to your childhood friends." Yells Dysis while running down with Arial, and Aileua with her.

I chuckle at their behavior, "Of course not, your highness." I say while kneeling.

When I look up, I see the happy faces of the kids before the cruel reign of Draven. The pride will be in good hands.

"Devna we gotta go if we are going to make it before sundown," I hear Davindar say after running up to me.

"I'm going to miss you guys," I shout while running down to Kion. I hear Davindar say bye and catching up with us.

*two days later*

"Look guys we made it right on time. The lion guard should be patrolling the border." Kion says with a goofy smile on his face. Are they going to accept me back? Is Tiifu still here? Will Kaira or Zuri look at me differently? How does this Kovu look? "Devna..... are you coming? DEVNA."

"Right, sorry but are you sure they want me back," I question, I'm the one who ran away. King Simba probably wouldn't have banished me.

"What do mean am I sure? You did nothing wrong. Now quit worrying and tell everyone your back starting with my sister." Kion exclaims while turning back around.

I guess he is right. They can't kick me out if I did nothing wrong even if Kairi is queen.

"Kion? You made it back. Mom was starting to worry." Kaira states while greeting him. She looks behind him, noticing me but what surprises me the most is that I see regret flash through her eyes. Before she can say anything, King Simba and Queen Nala arrive to greet us along with Tiifu and Zuri. I watch Zuri ran and greet Davindar her stomach looks a little round.

"Welcome back Devna I apologize for not considering your side more."

"It's okay." It wasn't his fault three people lied to while I was the only who had told the truth.

"She still as to do the test like the rest of did." Says Tiifu after speaking up for the first time.

"What test," I ask.

"Its to see if you will be useful to pride by seeing if you can hunt," answers Kaira, "You can choose whoever you want to be on your team."

I look at them and watch Kaira think she will get pick on my tea. After a while of looking around, I see three lionesses in the back I have never seen before. I think I found my team.

"I choose those three," I announce, they turn around and call them over to where we are.

"Devna meet Vitani, Spotty, and Dotty," Simba says, greeting all of us. Vitani has violet eyes with a hair tuff and a faded golden fur color, while Spotty and Dotty are twins and have darker fur color. They are so thin you can see their ribs, but they have enough muscle to look tough.

"Vitani she chose you three to be on her hunting group. Good luck." King Simba says while walking to Priderock with everyone in tow. Why haven't I seen these lions in the Pridelands?

"Come on the pride loves antelope," Vitani says while leading us to the hunting grounds. They can't be that new if they know that information.

"Why haven't I seen you three before?" I ask while trying to walk the same pace as Vitani.

"We could ask you the same question." Spotty states from behind me. I turn around to look at the twins their fur is different from the rest of the pride.

"Why did you choose us three to help you hunt?" Dotty asks speaking up for the first time. Dotty seems the nicest out of three.

"Your all different from the pridelanders with the darker fur, thinner bodies and between us three some of the pridelanders are annoying," I say while nearing the hunting grounds. I hear all of them laugh and nodding there head agreeing with me. When we make it, I bend down to hear Vitani tell the plan.

Vitani's plan was successful, making Devna welcome back with open arms. After this hunt, these four lionesses formed a close bond no one will understand making a fantastic hunting group. Their friendship was so close Vitani them a secret only the royal family knew, Kovu was adopted.
