Lion Gaurd: Devna and Davindar

The Challenge Part 1

Devna POV

He stopped in his tracks and looks at me in the eye saying

"Your father challenged me but I killed him before we could begin".

Hearing those words made me madder than I was already. I felt that one of the lionesses lessen her grip on so as soon as this "King" turns around I will pounce. I bite the lioness in the paw and push the other away.

Before the king runs away I shout "WE WILL FIGHT TO THE DEATH TOMORROW AT SUNDOWN".

He looks at me and says "It will be my honor as Draven the King of Nguro."

He than took off. When he left all the lionesses got up and walk off probably to their homes.

I look at my mother she looked frightened but the only words she could say "What did you do!?".

I then see Ariel come up to me and ask "He took down your father, may I help you remember, the best fighter known to this pride.".

I looked at her and reply, "I remember but before you can lecture me on what I did can you help me with my leg".

Then Dysis comes up running saying "Of course we have someone for this kind of things".

I follow her to an old lioness laying on a rock. The lioness sees my leg and says "Hello child my name is Abela, may I ask what happen to your leg?".

I sit down next to and while I told her she was fixing my leg. After I while of talking she sees  Kion and says "He seems to like you and you like him there is love right there" I turn around noticing he fell asleep and say "I really do love him".

I look at my leg and see that she is done. I walk towards Kion and nudge him awake.

When he wakes up he looks at me and says "Sorry I fell asleep".

I laugh and tell him "Follow me I have something to show you" he gets up to follow me.

When we get there he says, "Wow this is beautiful and look at all these flowers".

We walk up the hill to stargaze.

When we get comfortable I ask him "How are Priderock and Kaira doing" he looks at me surprised by my question but he answers "She is getting closer to being queen and there is a new lion called Kovu. Something doesn't feel right about him but it is probably brother instinct".

I laugh as he says he it is instinct when its just protectiveness. After a while of watching the stars in the sky, I put my head under his chin drifting to sleep I hear him whisper "I love you".

I wake up to my mom nudging me when my eyes are open she whispers to not wake up Kion "You father got him on his side and it is still fresh of a cut".

As she walks away I whisper "Thank you". I notice that Kion is still asleep so I try to not to wake him up when I'm removing my head from underneath his chin.

 "When you defeat Draven are going back to pride rock?" so much for settle. 

"I don't know? I'm probably not even welcome to go back to pride rock and who says I'm going to win." I exclaim.

Kion looks at me with shock but says "My dad he lift the punishment when he figured out and you are the best fighter I know"

I look at him with love and ask "How lucky am I to have you"

He answers "Pretty lucky" with a sly smirk on his face

I tell him I'm going to get a drink and don't go anywhere.

Davindar POV

I'm going to talk to Devna last time a saw her was at the flower meadow. I start walking seeing her talking to Kion then see her go get a drink.

I walk up to her nervously and say "Hey Devna can we talk"

She turns around and scoffs but asks, "Why did believe Zuri but not me?"

I look at the ground but I answer "We all knew of your problems with Tiffi so just connect the dots"

"You would look at history and 'connect the dots' then rather ask me if I did it," she said angrily.

"I'm -"

"You're sorry I know but you obviously don't care of the promise we made. You probably don't remember but I do. We told each other 'Us against the world'. You broke the promise the day that I left.  Now that we cleared that up I have the battle to get for".

I turn and watch her walk away. Thinking I royal messed up.
