Devna POV
It has been three whole days in the Pridelands. Davindar has made friends but I feel like sooner or later they will just make us leave so I stay quiet.
After a while of thinking I made a decision to go outside. As I'm walkig around a hear a rustle but I could smell their scent "You can come out now" I wait a while "Come on Kion".
Finally he comes out the bushes "How did you know it was me" "Your scent" "ohhhh".
When I keep on walking "You know Davindar told me what happen to your parents, Dennise and Dorian" I stop and flinched when I heard their names.
He walks closer to me "I'm sorry you lost them that way".
"I DONT NEED YOUR SYMPATHY AND SINCE DAVINDAR TOLD YOU EVERYTHING WHY DONT YOU GO HANG OUT TO ASK MORE PERSONALLY QUESTIONS" I then ran thinking how could Davindar do this.
As I start to slow down I see a watering hole with no one around it I sit down looking at my relfection hearing a twig snap. "I'm sorry" already knowing who it is "I just dont like talking about my parents".
Kion comes out the bushes and sits next to me. "You know I thought Devna fit perfectly because of how beautiful you are" I could feel him his gaze but I dont know what made me turn around. I met his amber eyes and got lost "We should go home my dad would be worried if we dont get back before dark" he broke the gaze blushing and so was I.
We made back to Pride rock smiling at each other. I layed down next to Davindar and he layed next to the royals.
