Word got back to me that Chris was seen around with some bitch. Apparently Chris's mother had a surprise party and he'd decided to invite his lil hoe instead of me. If all that wasn't enough, they kissed in front of everyone!
Now all Chris' family think that's his girl, but boy will they feel different once they meet me. I'm so sick of Chris treating me like shit.
Since I knew Chris had practice today after school, I decided to make a trip to his house and have a little chat with his mom. After all, she needs to know she's gonna be a grandma and I know Chris didn't tell her.
"Queen isn't home baby.." Chris' mama answered the door, thinking I was there for Q.
"Actually I'm here to talk to you.."
"Oh well come in baby.." She led me to the kitchen table and we sat down. "Talk when you're ready.."
"Well ma'am, I was involved with your son and I also had a fight with her daughter recently. I don't know if Chris told you or not but I'm pregnant.."
"This is definitely the first I'm hearing of this. I honestly don't know what to tell you other than to talk to Chris.."
"I have. He came to my appointment with me Monday but after that there's been no communication. I don't think he wants anything to do with me and his child.."
"The only thing I could do is talk to him. I can't make Christopher do something he doesn't want to do. If my son is acting the way you say he is, there has to be a reason behind it.."
"Like what?" I snapped.
"Maybe he doesn't think it's his.." She took a deep breath before speaking again. "Either way, you're barking up the wrong tree honey. I'll talk to Chris and I suggest you talk to your parents.."
Sh gave me some advice before I left. I actually felt worst leaving then coming. Not even his mom would accept me. Why should I even have this fucking baby?
Between the heavy rain pouring down from the skies and the heavy tears pouring down from my eyes, all I saw was a bight light before everything with black.
All my worries faded away.

From the message Mama left on my voicemail, I knew something was wrong. When I got home, she was going on and on about some crazy girl while Jay and Naz tried to calm her down.
"What's wrong ma?" When she saw me, she just started hitting me. "Yo, what's the deal?"
"What the hell is wrong with you boy? Going around getting girls pregnant and shit!" Mama yelled. Now I know the crazy girl she was talking about.
"Ma it's not like that. I don't even know if its mine or not.."
"That's not the point Christopher! I taught you better than that! You call that girl up now and have a talk with her!"
"Ma.."
"Don't 'Ma' me Christopher! You know better now you better do better!"
I went to my room and did what Mama said but when I called an older man answered the phone.
"Hello? May I speak to Nicole?"
"Uh is this Chris?"
"Yeah this Chris, who is this?"
"Doctor Johnson, Nicole has been a serious accident not too long ago. Can you please come down so we could speak in person?" I grabbed my shit and raced out the door.
Even thought Nikki and I had our moments, don't think for a second that I don't care about her. I wasn't in love but I did care.

When I got home from school, I locked myself in my room. Chris and I barely said a word to each other so I guess he was still feeling some type of way. We agreed to be friends but I guess that wasn't good enough.
"Can I come in Mija?" My mom knocked on the door before I'd let her in. "What's going on with you?"
"Noth-"
"And nothing isn't an answer choice to this question.."
"I like somebody but I'm not supposed to.." I said finally giving in.
"Does he have a girlfriend?" I shook my head.
"No.."
"Well does he like you back?"
"Yeah but-"
"But nothing. If you wanna be with Chris then you need to tell him how you feel before its too late!" I smiled at both the mention of his name and how well my mom know me. I never told anybody I liked Chris but I do; even before the kiss.
"How did you know it was Chris? I never said any names.." She smiled at me, sitting down on he bed next to me while we had our little girl talk.
"Leeyah, I saw the way you two looked at each other the other day. A mother just knows baby.." I hopped up to go and let Chris know how I felt. Practice was over some time ago so he should be home right now. "Don't take no for an answer either baby!"
