When I got to the room she was in, she was just lying here with all types of tubes connected to her. We didn't see eye to eye most time but I hated seeing her like this. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
"Are you family of Ms. James?" A doctor asked, catching me off guard.
"She's pregnant with my child.." I said reluctantly.
"Uh are you sure about that?"Se asked looking down at her chart. "What's your name sir?"
"Brown, Christopher." I answered as she flipped through the pages. "Is there something I need to know?" I asked nervously.
"We can't talk about this right here. Please come into office so we could speak privately.." I followed the doctor to the office and sat down in a chair across from her desk. "Would you be willing to take a DNA test? I'm only asking because someone else is listed as the father."
"No problem." After taking the test, I wanted about two hours before getting the results.
"The results came back that you weren't the father Mr. Brown. I am so sorry to be the one to deliver that news to you."
"Excuse me?" I asked getting angry. "See this the type of shit I be talkin bout! Crazy ass girl got me stressing and this ain't even my damn baby?"
"Please calm down Mr. Brown. I understand this is a lot to deal with right now." She told me. "When you called, we thought you were family so we told you to come but then someone else called claiming to be the father to this child so-"
"So basically the bitch was playing me, that's what you saying?"
"Sir, you will have to wait until Miss James wakes up to get an answer from her. All I can tell you is that our information is 100% accurate."
I got up and stormed out the hospital thinking so many evil thoughts. How could this bitch be so evil?

Because of all the rain, it took me forever to get to Chris's house. I hated driving in the rain but Chris was worth it so to hell with it. When I finally made it there Chris was getting out of his car with an angry look on his face.
I hopped out my truck and ran to him in the pouring rain. "Chris!"
"Leelee?" He sounded surprise. "What are you doing here?"
I grabbed Chris' shirt and pulled him down to my level. "For you.." I said before kissing him passionately. He picked me up to his level, never breaking the kiss.
"Chris if you don-" Queen started yelling before she saw me. "Nevermind, carry on.." She smiled.
"What's gotten into you?" Chris asked. "I thought you just wanted to be friends."
"Chris I like you, I won't deny that anymore. I could just hold it all in and watch us fall apart any longer.." I let out a deep breath. "We barely even talked after that and I hated that. You're my best friend and I never wanna lose you because I as too afraid to admit what I was feel."
"I knew you wanted a nigga!" He laughed.
"Whatever, can we get out the rain now and leave this shit to the white people?" I joked. He grabbed my hand and we ran inside his house soaked.
"Why are yall wet?" Naz asked.
"Because she wanted to do a scene from the Notebook and shit!" Chris joked.
"What happened with that girl Christopher?" Mama J asked Chris. What girl was she talking about? I know I didn't do all this shit for nothing.
"When I called they said she had gotten into an accident so I left to go check on her. When I got there they asked me to do a DNA test and they found out the baby wasn't even mine."
"That nasty little heifer!" Mama J huffed. "Come in my house all that crazy mess knowing damn well that baby was for somebody else!"
"Yeah, then they said she had another dude listed as the father on their paper work too."
"I'm so sorry son.." Mama said to Chris. "What you gonna do?"
"Live my damn life, graduate, and have fun!" Chris responded. Not once did he mention me so I just decided to excuse myself.
"Uh I think it's time for me to go.." Before anyone could say anything, I was out the door. Since the rain had stopped for now, I just walked to my car.
"Aye why you leaving?" Chris asked jogging behind me.
"Because it's obvious I did all this for nothing. I put myself out there and told you how I felt and go-" He cut me off by kissing me softly.
"Will you be my girlfriend Leeyah Moore?" I couldn't help but smile and throw my arms around neck. "So is that a yes?"
"No that's a maybe!" I giggled. "Of course it's a yes!"
All I need in this life of sin is me and my boyfriend..
