Chapter 22

Maya

Graduation was literally in hours and I couldn't contain myself. The crew all planned on going to UCLA and sticking together. That only made me more excited to graduate!

"You and Chris gonna get married?" I asked Lee.

"What?" She laughed. "We don't talk about stuff like that really. We haven't even talked about what's gonna happen after this.."

"Yall need to, summer is the last summer of freedom and fun. Yall might wanna decided what it is yall gonna do before anything.."

"I'll talk to him about it tomorrow morning.."

"Why not tonight?"

"It's graduation bitch!" She laughed. "Talking is the last thing Chris gonna wanna do!" She winked causing me to laugh.

I couldn't wait for the future!

When they called Chris' name, I jumped up and started screaming for him. I was so fucking excited, I couldn't help myself. 

I told my parents what Chris suggested I do and they supported me but also told me to be careful. With all the proof I had before, he still remained untouchable.

I trusted Chris though. He said he had my back and I believed him. It was hard to trust someone else with my life other than family but Chris was different, I knew that now.

When it was time for to walk across the stage, I was nervous as hell. What if I trip or something? I pushed those thoughts aside and did my thing.

I heard everyone but Chris was the loudest. "Alright Leelee! Thanks my girlfriend!" I wanted to laugh but I just smiled at his cuteness. When I walked off stage, Chris lifted me up and spun me around.

I didn't even notice he was on his knee. What the hell was he doing?

Nicole

What the fuck was this nigga doing? I know he ain't about propose to this bitch, or at least I think he not..

I don't know  what was going on but I was heated. He doing all this shit like I'm not right here watching and shit. I couldn't even hide my jealousy this time.

After all the shit Chris and I have been through, I still loved him. I don't know how I could be so stupid but I was.

My feelings were officially crushed but what could I do?

Maybe I just need to stop..

Chris

I still can't believe I was on bended knee right now. All eyes were on me but most importantly, hers were. No I wasn't proposing or anything, it was just a promise .

I made so many promises and I just wanted to show her everything I said, I'd do. I wanted to show my true feelings and this was the perfect way.

We're too young to get married but I knew that was something I saw us doing in the future.

"Chris what are you doing?" She whispered.

Someone handed me a mic and I spoke into it.

"I know what y'all thinking but it's not that at all. I'm not gonna ask her to marry me just yet, but I do wanna give her this promise ring to show that everything I told you was true." I said. "I fell in love with you and I promised you all kinda stuff. I want you to know that I'll never leave your side and I'll always be here to protect and love you. No matter how we fuss and fight, I love you and I always will. You're the only girl I've ever loved and the only one I wanna love.." Tears were now coming down her cheek. "Will you accept my promise ring?"

"Yes Chris!" She smiled as I put the ring on her finger. Everyone cheered and clapped for us. I stood up and hugged her before going back to our seats and watching the rest of the graduation go on.

She looked over at me and mouthed "I love you.."

Santana

What the fuck was this? I warned Leeyah what would happen but the little bitch didn't listen.

Plus she had the fucking nerve to go to the police on me again. Last time she did that shit, I almost killed her. This time she won't be so lucky to get away.

As for her little boyfriend, his ass was grass too. I just need to come up with the perfect plan and trust me I will.

If I can't have her, nobody will..
