You and I Collide [on going]

Part 7

He was so busy. Photoshoots here, photoshoots there. Meron pa syang ichecheck na files from clients. Sometimes people ask how he seemed not so stressed despite with this busy kind of life. Well, for Enrique..it's not just his work that keeps him busy but he always put in my mind not to forget to have fun.

"Oh dear, you're so beautiful tonight." He sweetly said it and caressed the face of the girl who was beside him, who leaned her head on his bold shoulder. The girl looked at him intently. "Really? Thanks babe. Thanks for tonight. I really had fun." The girl seductively smiled and touched his abs. 

Enrique passionately kissed the girl and then stopped. "This won't be the last." The girl sweetly smiled and fell asleep.

"Kuya! where have you been last night? I slept late because of waiting for you." Galit na galit na sinalubong ni Kean ang kuya nya na papasok ng bahay. It was 8 in the morning at iba na ang mood nito. "You do not have the right to shout at me. I am your kuya!" He shouted at Kean. Naiirita na siya sa asal nito. "Oh you don't care about me at all, right? San ka na naman galing? sa babae mo? I told you diba i'll be home last night? And you promise we'll eat together but you did not come! I also thought I'll get a hug from my dear brother whom i thought cares for me!" Then Kean walked out. He was so disappointed. He really hated broken promises. He misses his brother that's why he wanted so much attention. To be the youngest is not easy. Yes, people could say he's blessed to have all the luxuries in life but that still did not satisfy him. He wanted someone to care for him. Their mom is always out of town, he really missed his once complete family.

Enrique called Kean but he did not pay attention. So he just went to his room and changed. He admitted to himself that he was wrong. But he is just a guy and wanted to satisfy his own need. He now regretted shouting back at his younger brother. He decided to talk to him before lunch.

They're in the dining room, eating lunch.
"I'm sorry Kean, about what happened. It was truly my fault I'm sorry. I was selfish and forgot about you. I hope you could  forgive me." Kean who was just looking at his food nodded as a sign na okay na sa kanya. He thought, wala syang mapapala kung magtitigas-tigasan pa sya ng ulo. Enrique continued to talk. "I'm really sorry bro. I hope you understand me. Hindi madali ang trabaho ko. I just need some time to unwind. Actually I'm still tired right now. Sometimes, i think what if I'll give up my position? I almost gave up because of the stress it's giving me and this isn't really what I want to do, it's just that...I love dad and I am the eldest. This is ONLY a responsibility." Enrique sadly confessed it and Kean listened attentively. It was all true. He didn't want to be like this. It was only a responsibility. He felt good saying it to his brother what he really felt.

"Kuya I'm sorry. I didn't expect that this is what you feel. Is there anything I can do? Why not follow what your heart says? Kuya, you should follow what you love to do. You can leave your work to kuya Arjo, I know he's the other right man for your position. Kuya, I don't want you to be a prisoner with this thing that gives me my luxuries." He tried to sound positive. "You're right but it's not that easy bro. Thank you for being thoughtful. It's okay..I can still handle this." He then continued to eat.

Kean was sad for his brother. He needs to do something. His brother's happiness is more important than anything else.
