Chapter 5

??p.o.v: I arrived in some woods,it must have been where the light lead. I felt cold air on my skin which I started to rub.
It felt good to feel again, my soft skin ,the cold air ,it was..........euphoric.
I forgot I even had skin or hair since I haven't felt it in so long. I started to rub my hair which was a bubblegum pink color. I somehow forgot the color of my hair as well.
The color made me think of bubblegum then of food which made me remember I haven't eaten in so long, 1000 years maybe. I look around seeing the sun in the sky,which meant the crossing was completed. I relished this new found freedom,then I saw a delicious looking white furred creature with long ears. So I chased after it.
It ran for a bit but I was faster of course letting me catch it and I quickly bit into its neck.
The warm blood seeped into my mouth ,it was so intoxicating that I started to rip the animal apart causing a mess of blood all over my face and hands .
I cracked it's skull open and ate it's delicious brain matter ,it was chewy and gushed out blood in every bite.
All I had to do now was to find what was mine.

Will's P.o.v:That night we talked about what the creature might have been and where it came from.
Of course Drake only suggested stupid things like it as a monster from his favourite comic series.
But then we figured it must have been conjured from the thing that was in the crater.
We all promised that we'd go check it out after school which included the girls much to Ashe's dismay.
He's good for holding a grudge over things like this,there was this one time where I lost a toy he gave me and he wouldn't talk to me for a week. But this was Ashe's first impression with Emma so he's probably not going to like her for awhile. He seemed indifferent with Amber who I personally wanted to get to know more.
Not because she was cute or anything just because she's really quiet. I mean I'm not saying she isn't cute she's cute okay. Look I'm not saying I like her I barely know her I'm just saying she seems nice and cute that's all. Plus she's a girl that actually wants to hang out with us which is why I don't get why Ashe is trying to get rid of them . I mean he's probably jot as desperate as the rest of us since he had girlfriend's before unlike me and Drake. Drake claims he gets girls but I've known him since 7th grade and I've yet to see any of them.
He always says they go to a different school which is so believable. Anyway since I was curious about the creature and how my friends became the X-men I wanted to know more about this sphere,well Ashe described it as a sphere. So because of my curiosity I was actually up early for school without John having to wake me up. "Well you're up early " he said when he came to wake me up at the normal time. "Yup today's special "
I said with a smile but he wasn't amused." I still don't think it's a good idea" John had many reasons yesterday why going wasn't smart but majority rules plus he wasn't even there the first time so he didn't even have anything to be worried about. I reassured him it would be fine and we walked to school like normal. We split up since we had different home rooms luckily my home room and 1st period had Drake and Ashe but I was alone most of the day in till lunch. I don't really talk to anyone else at our school since they're all pretty annoying ,I mean don't get me wrong some of my classmates were cool people but I still wasn't close enough with them to be friends.
Despite this i didn't really hate anybody at school except for one kid. The person I couldn't stand was this obnoxious jerk at our school named Chad Chorley. He was apart of the football team making him think he was a "jock" or something so he acted like a cliche bully from a terrible high school movie. Speaking of which he got switched into my first period which is just my luck. I didn't notice at first because I was talking to Drake and Ashe. "Sorry guys I couldn't answer your texts because my phone got taken away by my mom for skipping yesterday " Drake told us which didn't surprised anyone since his mom was....how could I put it? A bitch. Ashe started to laugh since he predicted it then outta nowhere me and him got grabbed by Chad."Hey nerds whatcha talking about ?"he said while squeezing us both .
I could tell Ashe wanted to burn him. "None of your business nimrod so let us go ".
"What'd you say to me I'm gonna clock you!" Clock? Wtf Noone says that. I looked at Mr K who was just sitting there not saying anything even though I know it caught his attention because everyone was looking at us.
"Let my friends go !" Drake yelled but Chad just retorted by saying how big and strong he was,then it became two stupid people arguing. Ashe then grabbed Chad's wrist " I said let go of me,Take it off before I rip it off!" Chad just laughed at him "What are you going to do pipsqueak?" Ashe then let some fire outta his hand momentarily burning his wrist causing him to let go .
"You little shit!" He yelled about to hit Ashe but he quickly got elbowed in the stomach getting him to the ground. "That's enough stop before I call an administrator! "Mr K yelled finally after we didn't need him to do anything. "This isn't over"Chad said as he walked to the other side of the room . Ashe was oddly aggressive, I asked him if he was okay but he answered with a "why wouldn't I be". Maybe he was really ok?
After that I had a pretty boring day just waiting for it to end.
After school we walked into the woods where the object was,we knew it vanished but I still thought we might figure something out.

What we actually saw though I wasn't expecting.
